I bought this because I wanted a very "Heavy Duty" power strip. It was a little overboard for even me. It works great even when I have a lot of things plugged in. The only time it ever tripped was when we had a power outage. The USB's are and added plus for charging small items like phones. I love everything about this unit except one thing. The distance between plug in's is not adequate. if you have a large boxed type plug it eats up 2 spaces. That said I can still plug a ton of items in safely.
