  • Set these up very easily on the app and Alexa in less than 5 minutes.
Color: White Size: 6 Outlets
I love easy smart home automation. I purchased 3 of these units to install in various locations to control the power outlet for a few devices in the home. Mainly my IT office and garage. There are some things in the house I want to be able to know I can turn off remotely and also watch the power utilization. Which I didnt think I would care about power usage itself that much, but it has been handy to see the power usage of devices plugged in to see how they actually affect my wallet over time. I was really shocked to find that this strip could handle the needs of my garage air compressor and shopvac just fine. Air compressor was very handy as I can command Alexa to turn the air compressor on or off when needed and no it wasnt going to go off in the middle of the night trying to recharge the garage air system. Modern air compressor by the way, check your air compressor power needs before using as some pumps need very large start up power to begin use, but my air compressor design allows for "easy start" by removing compression from the first few strokes. But still 11 amps of power on startup. I used them to connect the different leads for the outdoor christmas lights and set digital timers on each plug to turn and off at defined times to avoid worrying about anything outdoors and even the christmas tree itself. Mind blowing to have it manage them all through the weeks of the holidays. I really have no complaints thus far, as the ability to manually turn on and off per port is there, USB charging is onboard (note not remote controllable of course, they are on if power to the board is on). You can groups ports into different programs, or schedule independently. Nice to look at, well constructed as well. You do have to use the KASA home app to set them up initially, but can easily combine with other home automation systems like Google Home and Alexa. I have both systems possible as well as others. No hub required at all. Give each port its own name and you can command that device at will. Great work, looking at getting more soon. ... show more

  • Easy to setup!
Color: White Size: 6 Outlets
I recently purchased the Kasa Smart Plug Power Strip HS300, and I must say, it is a game changer! This surge protector provides me with peace of mind and makes my life so much easier. One of the standout features of this power strip is the fact that it has six individually controlled smart outlets. I can manage each outlet separately through the Kasa app on my phone. It is incredibly convenient to turn on and off devices with just a tap on my phone screen. Whether turning off the lights when I'm already in bed or scheduling my coffee maker to start brewing in the morning, this power strip allows me to automate and personalize my home's electrical system. The HS300 also includes 3 USB ports, an excellent addition for charging multiple devices simultaneously. I no longer have to search for available wall outlets or carry around various chargers when I travel. The USB ports are fast-charging and provide enough power to charge my devices quickly. Another significant benefit of this product is its compatibility with Alexa and Google Home. I can easily integrate it into my existing smart home ecosystem and control it using voice commands. It's pretty impressive to say, "Alexa, turn off all the lights," and watch as all the connected devices respond accordingly. Furthermore, setting up the HS300 was a breeze. It doesn't require any additional hubs or complicated installations. All I had to do was plug it in, download the Kasa app, and follow simple steps to connect it to my Wi-Fi network. Regarding drawbacks, one thing to note is that the power strip is pretty large compared to standard ones. This may be an issue if you need more space or want something more compact. Overall, I highly recommend the Kasa Smart Plug Power Strip HS300. Its individually controlled outlets, USB ports, compatibility with intelligent assistants, and easy setup make it a fantastic addition to any home. It has made my life more convenient and efficient, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. ... show more

  • Great Smart Power Strip!
Color: White Size: 6 Outlets
I recently received an Echo Show as a gift, and was excited to begin my foray into the world of smart products. I started with lights and plugs, thinking this would help me reduce my energy consumption. I also have ADHD, so it would help me during those times when I forget to turn things off. After having a poor experience with a highly-rated but not so great no-name brand, this Kasa smart power strip was the first time I strayed from Govee products, and I’m glad I gave it a shot. The pairing experience was easy. Their app works and is intuitive to use. It allows you to name each outlet individually, and rearrange them on the fly if you need to (useful if you unplug a few things and re-plug them back in to different outlets). Each plug has an indicator light to let you know if it’s powered on or off. Inside the app, lies my favorite feature. It actually tracks power consumption and gives you breakdowns of power use for each plug daily, weekly, and monthly. You can also view real-time power consumption for each outlet (I added a few pictures so you can see what this looks like). This helps me see where exactly my power bill money is coming from, and allow me to make adjustments if/where I can. This power strip also feels well-made - it’s certainly not your typical $5 offering at a big box store. My only gripe is that the two USB outlets do not have Smart Control features on them, and also that there are no USB-C outlets. This is probably the *only* thing that keeps me from buying more of these. I would hope that this will be updated soon, as electronics are moving towards the USB-C standard globally. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase. It’s one of the few offerings in this category on the market, and one of the only ones I felt comfortable giving a shot. I’d say it’s definitely worth a try if you’re considering, just be aware of its teeny tiny shortcomings in the USB-outlet department. I’ve had this for about 3 months and have no issues so far, but will update over time to see what the longevity of this product is like. ... show more
