  • A blessing for tech addicts 😁
I purchased one of those a couple of years ago for my office set up where I had a couple of monitors and different type of printers. I came across this and I placed an order right away. Pros: sturdy, space saver, allows you to have separate independent levels that can be turned on/off, plenty of outlets and USB connections, more than one may need (keep it safe people and don’t overload your circuits), it rotates so you can easily plug in from any angle Cons: The orange color kinda clashes with one’s decor and sometimes it is hard to push the plug into the little sockets but I can live with that since all the pros way outweigh the cons 🙂 I bought another one for my craft room so I can have plenty of power outlets for all my craft machines, computer, overhead lights, etc. and I have been very happy with it. ... show more

  • Oh HELL YES!
Great concept, great design, thought out for real world use, great execution! Yes, the receptacle plugs are snug... THANKS! I hate when the plugs are so loose that cords fall out, and you may not even realize! I use it in my converted high top van, so a little more stability from a heavier base could the answer, HOWEVER... better that I add it than pay you to:design, build and ship it to me! NO PROBLEM! Likely that's why GOD inspired the creation of Velcro! This far exceeds the surge strip rolling around in the floor... and I can kill the mini fridge overnight to allow for power to run nighttime equipment that I need using the zoned system! uses less footprint too and ... you were forward thinking enough to add a sturdy handle which I suspect ought to hold it steady with a bungee or suspended at a convenient height! Also, I removed the cabinetry from the van and I'm creating a fresh configuration, it handles all my power tools and chargers, etc without constantly unplugging the circular saw to plug in the scroll saw, then changing to a sander, back to the cell charger etc.... See some of the pictures to get an idea how much this will get used! There is the older picture of the cabinetry before the work started recently. I have a 2000 watt inverted AC power system, three batteries, however the inverter will hold two (2) plugs... this is so much better! When I return home to Missouri from here in California, I'm certain it will be very useful in my shop... or office... maybe I will have to add another one or three! I've got this! If "THEY" for got to tell you people today... THANKS FOR COMING TO WORK! ... show more

  • This is a solid product and very versatile
First of all, it seems well-built and of quality material. It can swivel on it's base, which could be great for a side table where you want to have a multi-device charging station (booyah, it has mutliple rapid charging USB ports!). I have some large plugs, and they all fit without blocking any other outlets. The outlets are plentiful, by the way. There are enough for me to have plugged in 11 UV grow lights and 2 fans, with extra outlets to spare. And it is handling the power load beautifully; not a hiccup, not warm. You may notice the fan in the photo - that is to cool down the UV grow light plugs, which tend to heat up, not to cool the tower. Another great feature: there are on/off buttons on each of the four levels of the tower, so you can choose to operate any combination of the four levels at any time. I took the convenience a step further and plugged this in to a smart outlet, so I can turn off the entire grow tent and accessories at the tap of a button. I don't do it at the tap of a button, because smart home automations allow me to schedule on/off times. To sum up, this is a quality product that works great and is a good value for the price. I would absolutely recommend this product to a friend. ... show more

  • Does the job
Initial review only, have used it for only one day. This is the model with 14 plugs and 4 USB ports. (four banks high). The concept is neat, it works good on my small side workbench, where there isn't much space. I would struggle with a traditional strip. Here's the things you need to know, based on the box (and using the box english, which was obviously translated with Google Translate". "Save space, the fashion colour, overload protection and a key control" "Independent control switch, which could control freely according to demands, protect appliance and save power" "Could with more USB ports, the DC current for each USB port could be to 2.1A, can charge mobile and all kinds of digital products, satisfy your power demands in different conditions." "Overload protector cut off high voltage fastly" "The power cord most length 6ft" And tech data, also using the box english: Surge-protection rating to 780 joules. Rated 110 - 250V Rate current 13A 16 AWG Maximum power 3000W Frequency 50/60 Hz Material: ABS + fireproof material Safe protect overload protector USB: yes DC voltage for USB 5V DC current for USB 2.1A Length of cablew: 6FT And hey, it has "Anti-thunder protection"! Wheee. As far as the device itself, I've only used it briefly, plugged in a tester to make sure it is wired okay. All ports (14 power sockets) seem to be good. Have not tried USB yet. The cable has an internal spool which I didn't expect, I was confused why It had a 3" cable when I first unboxed it, but then I realized you can unspool it. Nice for keeping the cable only as long as you need it. I don't have a major issue with the look. It's a little gaudy, yes, but oh well. The LEDs are a little too bright for my liking, but I don't keep it on all the time, only when I need it. Not something you may want to keep on in a dark bedroom. If you turn off power to a specific power bank, you also turn off the associated LED. Assuming it all pans out, for the price it's not bad. About the only thing I knock it for (again, given the price) is that I wish the base would've been significantly heavier. I am going to investigate later if I can add my own weights. I am thinking first trying to split open the base and see if I can add weights in there, and if that fails, maybe glue a lead plate to the bottom. ... show more
