These are packaged nicely and look and feel reasonably well made...And I like the orange and blue pieces to distinguish them from each other. All of that said, these are just okay as far as sound and quality. You can't beat the price for a pair of wireless microphones, BUT, I'm probably not going to use them because you have to hold them REALLY close to your mouth/the sound for them to pick up the sound effectively. I'm going to try them with a different setup to see if that makes a difference, but so far, I've found that they're not sensitive enough and I don't like how close to the mic you have to get for it to pick up the sound effectively. ... show more

This microphone set is clean and strong. Sounds excellent like I was using an expensive microphone. Unfortunately they're all on the same frequency. We're setting up and tearing down Pa every week for church. So this basically design is the go to. No extra cables needed. Does take a little preparation to keep everything charged. Each receiver pictured is a different brand or model. They are all ok. Some drop out after a few feet. Others get spotty. This New baxs is clean and strong as far as we can take them. Not a super long distance but as far as I'd take any expensive wireless. Yes I have a Shure. Don't want to take the additional carry weight and setup time. My only complaint is I purchased several and they're all on the same frequency. So I can only use one set at a time. I've had other brands of this type microphone. Most fail after a few uses. Somebody drops one and it's over. These seem better built and they've been answering the bell for months. I carry them in an oven mit tied with a string in a suitcase with a bunch of other microphones in oven mitts, power cords and a rack mountable class d amplifier. So my load in is the mixing board in a laptop bag. One suitcase with the microphones amp and cables, and two speakers. Yes that combination of speakers amp and board can color your microphone sound. Most of my microphone sound fine. Just these sound the best so far. These go to the two grandmother's who share a grandchild. Grandma's hands is the most real heartfelt true Love song ever. The microphone I give the pastor costs almost four times what I give for these, still really cheap. While it usually sounds good, I've gotten static a couple of Sundays. I haven't had a kick of trouble out of this New baxs. I will keep these in my kit. I'm super pleased by these. I'm not mad at the lesser brands. They're useful. But I can use this microphone anywhere. Like I'm cool with my band's lead singer using this on a paying gig. Some of them others are gonna be on a stand in the good reception spot don't move. No handling problems. Not even a proximity issue. Come to think of it. In that one respect, it handling mishandling, it's that much like a Shure. Although I haven't seen the range of misuse and abuse I've seen shures go through, they're like that. I remember doing a service with Shure and another brand. While the other brand was good it required constant adjustment between users. The Shure was fine without adjustment. I don't have to adjust the New baxs either. Right now this is my new favorite microphone. I've easily microphones in my purchase history. If New baxs releases more frequencies I will buy more. ... show more
