The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this microphone for a while now and it’s always worked great. The sound quality is great and works perfectly with my block rocker. I wish I would have purchased one with two microphones because my household is full of singers!

When I first saw this microphone I was doing karaoke after things opened up again after the virus hit and I asked my KJ where did all of the people that I saw with their own personal microphones get them at ? He pulled it up on Amazon for me. I have several medical conditions and I thought it was great, that so many people had these, because now you didn't have to worry about, you know singing into the head of a mic that every other buddy's personal germs were all over. (Even though the KJS do a wonderful job of wiping down the mics with germ removing items) With my medical conditions I was like wow this is great and away for me to be safer for my personal health risk and they were under $30 at the time so I got it. That was in June of 2021 I just now purchased the second one that one as my first mic has finally stopped working. It's battery operated and I used the ultimate lithium batteries which lasted almost as long as the mic did. I didn't mind replacing it because for the amount of money it was worth it. Most of the KJS are able to use the receiver with their equipment so it's been a lot of fun and I would buy it again. Even though now it's over $30 but it's still under 40 it's a great buy and then if you seen any of my reviews you will see it has a case that you can purchase that it fits perfect, it's me just for it. ... show more

    • The plug-in adapter is really large
I bought this microphone to use with my ion speaker from Costco. Unfortunately, I had to return it because the jack on the adapter was too large for the plug-in on the ion speaker so it didn’t work for us.

    • Too boomy. You get what you pay for.
Microphone is very loud on the low frequencies. My lows had to be turned down to about 9:00, mids at 11:00, and highs at 3:00. But, still, didn't sound that great. I would not recommend this for singing. For the price, it would make a fair speech and commentary mic.

    • Great value for the money
There is no setup, just put the batteries in and turn on receiver and mic and it works. How the heck did they make this microphone and sell it for so cheap? It works really well. Amazing, I think. Less than 40 bucks and you have a microphone with metal mesh. Range is great. I had less issues with feedback with this mic then my wired mic's, you have to point the mic directly at the speaker for it to squeal. Also, it comes with a rubber anti-roll piece that you put on the bottom when you aren't using it, so it won't roll off the table. That wasn't in the pictures. The base is a rubber cap that appears to be just glued on there. If you buy the version that has two mic's then the rubber caps are different colors. You don't need to but I plugged the receiver into a small mic preamp just to get better gain out of it, this isn't necessary though, works well just directly plugged into the amp.     • Sounds as solid as any other wireless mic I have used
The media could not be loaded. I'm a musician with 20+ years experience, I'm a songwriter, vocalist, lead and rhythm guitarist, bassist, and drummer. Check out my channel on YouTube, search "raywellmanmusicandart" to listen to my original music! I've performed for years on stage and have even done the occasional karaoke night with my wife. She is the reason I got this mic. She wanted something to goof off with at home and it delivers well beyond what I expected especially for the price. I can't say much for durability as I haven't had it long, but it sounds great, astonishingly again at this price. As far as build quality, if it does break, it's cheap and I can easily get another one. Though to be honest this will be for use at home and unless you throw it on the ground or drop it I can't imagine there's any real reason this mic will break under normal use. There was some hum when plugged into my amp but not when recording direct in through my DAW (though I would NEVER record with this mic or any dynamic mic for vocals, I have a dedicated large diaphragm mic for that). This is meant to be a fun, goof off, karaoke mic and it's great for that. My wife can be a goober and sing and dance her way into karaoke night rock stardom. Seriously it's a great sounding mic and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap alternative for karaoke night or if you're a karaoke host. ... show more

Nothing really negative to say other than the material of the body is thin plastic. Range was good. It was easy to use. The gain is pretty high - FYI. I had bought a single unit for twice the price (other brand) & returned it to get this one. Now, both my daughters can sing at the same time! The receiver that goes on the speaker/amp input is smaller than the other brand too (win!) ... show more
