The media could not be loaded. I am familiar with “Micro king” wireless microphone systems and have had a good experience. So when I got the chance to review their 8-channels wireless system, I was eager to see how it works. I was not disappointed. Check out my video for a field test. I was very pleased with the performance of the system and the quality of the equipment. Nothing looks or feels cheap. The microphone system is made of metal- no plastic. It was super easy to setup and easy to use. There is only one dislike and it’s with installing the batteries. It is super hard to install. It feels like the battery compartment is a little to small for the AA batteries. It is a big enough concern to effect my overall rating. ... show more

    • Easy setup, decent sound, great bang for your buck
All things considered, this is a pretty good value and is ideal for large events, big groups, facilities such as community centers and churches, and to some extent, for music. First, the setup: Despite a poor manual -- these overseas manufacturers REALLY need to spend the small amount of money it would take to hire a better translator -- setting the system up should be easy for anyone who has worked with audio equipment before. It takes some hours to charge the receiver, but once charged it holds its charge well. You can also run it plugged in via USB. Once set up, it's time to test the mics. They are on the larger size, especially if you're used to working with something like a Shure studio mic, but since these are meant to be mobile that's not a bad thing. Big is good. I tested them going up to a 50-foot range and lost no sound quality. The mics are very lightweight and don't feel *too* cheap (though to be clear, they don't feel super sturdy, either). The sound itself is pretty good, for sure a little better than I was expecting from a set that comes with 8 microphones. I wouldn't use these mics for studio recording, but for certain live settings they'll certainly get the job done. They are GREAT for speaking and are suitable for singing as well, though they don't have the dynamic range needed to do a good job with micing up amplifiers, etc. But they're perfect for your church band, karaoke group, or business presentation. To have 8 mics plus a full receiver with balanced XLR outputs at this price is pretty fantastic. I was able to use these in conjunction with my soundboard, mixer, and studio monitors and it all worked smoothly. For anyone who has a facility where sound is needed, the benefits of this setup will be obvious. For home use, if you already have a home sound system, this is a better purchase than a dedicated karaoke system.
