I was looking for a wireless microphone system to be used in my YouTube, wedding speeches, and interviews. I was into buying Rode Go but when I look into the features I found that only one transmitter and receiver that too for the high price range. Then after a plethora of researches and analyzing different wireless microphone systems I get to know about Comica BoomX-D2 wireless microphone. Initially, when I see the features like two transmitters and one receiver, compact size, built-in battery and designed to compatible for almost all camera brands, smartphones. The affordable price makes me ready to go with it and purchased the Comica BoomX-D2 product. But even after ordering, I was still in confusion about product built-in quality and transmitting and receiving audio signal speeds and noise elimination features, etc. When I received the product and used for one or two events then it's working amazingly well and the audio quality of my voice is crisp and clear. I love this product because it reduces my post-production work by syncing the audio with the footage and the two transmitters with built-in mic and lav is needed most while shooting the wedding toast and makes my work simple and easy. Reduced my gears stuff for audio during events. Sometimes I shoot my YouTube videos on mobile so the smartphone adapter cable comes in the product is a much-added advantage. While testing the microphone, I noticed that the Transmitter sends the uninterrupted signal with no delay over 60 feet which is more than enough for my content and comes with an affordable price is just wow. The product is compact and light-weighted easy to carry wherever and helpful in my short films which included run sequence. The battery holds the charge for more than 5 hours which is a good point to stick on to this product for my vlogging. The main reason for buying this is it is much compatible with my Go Pro and compactness and its effective transmitting speed helps make my blogging video with better sound quality. I need to mention the windshield for this mic which is very small and reduces much of the noise while filming the sequence and capturing wedding speeches. The automatic pairing of both receiver and transmitter is also good. In the compact device, LCD helps to monitor the sound level.     • First impressions are very favorable
I've had a YouTube channel for close to four years, and I've been learning about editing and filming as I go. I started a basic mic, upgraded to a mic mounted on top of the camera, and finally settled on a wired lavalier mic. That wired mic has been problematic for a long time, with the wire causing noise issues as I work on projects, and the mic picking up all kinds of clothing noises, popping, etc. It's been good enough, but definitely imperfect and extends my editing time as I try to minimize the sound issues in post. But I'm frugal and didn't want to upgrade until it was necessary. My son gave me a different wireless mic as a gift, and the sound quality was so terrible I couldn't use it (even though the thought was lovely). Finally, my wired lav mic broke a couple days ago, and I was forced to upgrade. All I can say is WOW! Why did I wait so long?? This set up has great reviews, and it was on a Prime deal, so for 45% off it was the perfect time to try a higher-quality wireless setup. The sound quality is light years beyond what I've had in the past. The transmitters and receiver worked straight out of the package, no set up required. Of course, there are things you can tweak, but for a plug-and-play system, I'm super impressed. I didn't experience any clothing rustling sounds as I moved. No popping or hot sounds. I was able to go to the other room, with a wall between me and the receiver, with no degradation of sound. I found the best sound quality to come from the integrated transmitter microphone. The wind screen will be great outside, but I do most of my filming in my sewing studio. The lavalier mic wasn't as good as the built-in mic, in my opinion, so I think I may tinker with the settings if I need or want to use that. The audio cable does connect to my computer for voiceovers, but again I would need to tinker with the settings to make that a viable option. (I already have a large boom mic that is better for voiceovers, so I don't see myself using this system that way.) For my purposes and for the price, this is a really fantastic set up, and I would recommend it for amateur video makers like myself. For the record, I am using this with a Canon EOS M50 camera and evaluating the sound on my Macbook Pro using iMovie for editing clips. No fancy sound equipment or high-tech audio engineering stuff here. Just me doing my thing. ... show more
