Easy to set up. Several pages of instructions that are easy to follow. The Smart Home app is required for set up, but the fobs, keypad, or even Alexa can handle the day to day alarm on and off. I have it set to come on at night and turn off in the morning so I don't even need the fob. The 5 sensors are enough for a small house or apartment. New sensors are easily available. I almost said it did not come with double sided tape for the sensors, but I found the tape in it's own compartment in the well padded box. This alarm works great with my existing Fuers W1 sensors. The W1 fobs work, but the buttons are rearranged. There are several alarm sounds to choose from so you can certainly find one that will wake you up or alert neighbors. ... show more

    • GRSICO 15 piece home alarm system review.

System was relatively simple to set up and connect to Wifi via Bluetooth from a smartphone and Smart Life App. Just a matter of assigning sensors to the system and then mounting them in place. Monitoring the system status and being able to arm and disarm via smartphone, even when away from home is a plus. 2 key fobs and 2 keypads are included in the 15 piece system as an alternative to arming and disarming via smartphone. I opted to pay for phone and message alerts for alarm events. You can go into the Smart Life app and turn on and off notifications so that if you are testing the system by triggering the alarm, it won't send notifications if you shut notifications off. You can turn notifications back on as you please. One concern that I have is regarding ongoing availability of additional accessories. After setting up the system, I decided that I wanted to order two additional key fobs. I go onto Amazon to order the key fobs and get the message "Item currently unavailable. We don't know when or if item will be back in stock" which does not sound very encouraging. There is another alarm system sold on Amazon called "Tolviviov" and the sensors, keypads and fobs look identical to the GRSICO ones and the Fobs are currently available for them. I will order one fob for the Tolviviov system to try out to see if it works or not with the GRSICO system and will order more from Tolviviov if it does work. *Followup edit*. I received the Key fob for the Tolviviov Home Alarm system and tried it out.....It linked right up to my GRSICO system and works fine....so that is an option for those looking for additional key fobs for the GRSICO home alarm system. ... show more

I having been using this product for about a month and it works very well. The only two issues are that the system sometimes randomly switches from home to away mode and will start to alarm right after you turn the system to home. The system also will only notify one user that the system is armed. Other than those two issues the system makes me feel comfortable and safe in my home. ... show more

Didn't have high expectations but I thought it would work. I've installed a few professional systems. I realize there's not much to it. First off The sensor on my back door falls off all the time. Can't figure out why. So I had to use this classy looking piece of tape. Surprisingly with it falling off I never get notified of the alarm going off. Apparently, you can only do "free notifications" if you're in range of your own wifi system. Only reason I bought it was because it made it sound like it would notify me through the app of an alarm. That's all I need, but no such luck. The blink camera with motion detection is 100% more useful. Not to mention that it somehow doesn't recognize one of the sensors after I deleted it because it was not working. However, now that it has been deleted, it works. Idk. Otherwise, setup was easy. Just wish it worked as promised because the there is no way I'm paying an alarm service fee for this POS system. It's like a twenty dollar special from the big box store. Suppose I will just have to spend the cash and buy a real system. Updated,: ok so an hour after posting this, the sensor fell off again (I assume) and the alarm went off AND I got a notification through the app. Guess I will add a star and post updates if this thing starts working right 👍 ... show more
