    • Not efficient or effective
We tried these collars for 2 weeks, and they were not helpful at all. When turning them on, we could not get the GPS signal unless we were already out on the front lawn, and they would take 5 minutes to find a signal. Then we would go back in the house to put them on the dogs, and the signal would disappear. Therefore, not working by the time the dogs got outside. The time between the warning beeping and the vibration, and then the shock are far too long. By the time it shocked them, they had already gone after the neighbor and the mailman. Which is why we invested in these collars in the first place. To stop them from going after people, or going in the road. They went in the road still. It took almost a full minute before they recieved the WARNING peeps! Often times the GPS loses signal with the collars on and they don't even warn at all. The minimum parameter is too large. On one side of our yard, the parameter extended all the way through the neighbors yard on one side of us. I had to do this in order for the boundary to not go on the other neighbors lawn. You cannot move the boundaries easily. You have no control over the alerts-shock like you can with a remote controlled collar. Over all. It was useless for us. ... show more

    • Not for big, smart dogs
We have a 60 pound Bernedoodle. The biggest problem with this collar is it takes over a minute of beeps and vibrations before shock. My dog will take off after a rabbit and then run back in the yard, resetting the collar before the shock. She has run across the road numerous times and this was the reason I invested in this collar. I need something with a much faster shock. The beeps and vibrations just don't affect her. ... show more

Really like. We have a 5 month old puppy that recently started wandering the woods behind our house. He's very smart so he learned on the first day to come back to us when he hears a beep. Not sure how useful it will be to our very old, very unintelligent dog. But it was useful for the dog we needed it for! ... show more
