In the box The box contained the earbuds, the charging case, a USB-A to USB-C charger, and extra eartips. The eartips are sized as small, medium, and large, and are meant to fit whatever size your ear canal may find most comfortable. The charging case has an LCD indicator that let’s you know at what level the case is at during charging from the power cord, and also gives you an indication of the power level of the case while you are charging the earbuds inside the case. Pairing The earbuds paired with my Fold 5 fairly easily. I took the earbuds out of the charging case, and they automatically went into pairing mode. It was a simple matter of going to Bluetooth mode on my phone, looking for the A11 earbuds, and choosing “connect”. They paired without any issue. Typically, people have issues when three or more objects are connected to their phones via Bluetooth. My Samsung watch is always connected to my phone via Bluetooth. I only have issues getting earbuds paired when I still have another set of earphones already connected via Bluetooth. Since I had nothing else connected other than my watch, I had no problems connecting at all. Comfort Very comfortable. I’m not a big fan of inside-the-ear earbuds. They tend to irritate my inner ear. If I choose a size too big, then they end up falling out in addition to being uncomfortable. I eventually settled for using the smallest size tips. This made the buds fit very comfortable and didn’t provide any irritation at all. I was at the beginning of a Zoom call, and I decided it was the perfect avenue to try out the A11s. I wore these for a few hours, and I never felt that they would fall out of my ears. Sound I decided to try these out a little longer as I knew that the next day I would have about half a day of Teams and Zoom calls. I’ve been wearing these pretty much all morning, and they have been inconspicuous in terms of my being aware if they were even in my ear. Unless I remember that they are in, I barely notice them. For my meetings, I have had no issues with listening to others speak. Nor have anyone had any issues hearing me speak. It’s worked the same for phone calls. There have been no issues at all. For music, which is why most people typically buy headphones, I have been pleasantly surprised by how well they sound. One of the first things that stand out is the level of bass that they start out with. Typically, I don’t care for excessive bass. These don’t present me with that. The bass is there, but it only seems to appear in songs that emphasize heavy bass, and even then, it’s not all-consuming and actually adds a little extra to the music. The good part is that if I find the bass to be too intrusive, I can always use the music app equalizer to change that. So it never really presents a major problem. Battery life One of the things that I couldn’t find in the instructions or on the box was anything that mentioned the total battery life. I've been running them constantly today with a combination of webcasts and music for about 5 hours, and according to my phone, the earbuds are at 70%. To be at 70% after 5 hours is a major accomplishment in terms of great battery life. I still have no idea what the total battery life would be, but from what I’ve experienced so far, I’m very happy with what I think I can achieve from these earbuds. Conclusion I came away being very impressed with these earbuds. In the beginning I had a couple of major concerns, one is that I wouldn’t be able to work with the eartips, which I typically haven’t been a fan of. But the A11s have surpassed my idea of what I could achieve in terms of comfort levels with eartips. Often, I didn’t even know that I had them in, that’s how comfortable they were. My second concern was the clarity of sound. This was also a pleasant surprise, as during my video calls the speakers all came across very clear, and they could hear me clear as well. Musically, the clarity of the sound was very pleasant. The bass was emphasized at just the right level for my ears, and when or if I required more, I could just make adjustments to the equalizer. This was a welcoming change from the typical setting of having to turn the bass down automatically because it gave me headaches. When listening to jazz tunes, the clearness of the horn and drum sections stood out, and when the stand-up bass player had solos, they were front and center in the music. It made for a very pleasant experience. R&B and Pop music all came across beautifully through the A11s. I was initially going to give these away as a Christmas gift, but I think I’m going to keep these and buy a few more as Christmas gifts.     • A nice pair of earbuds
I got these to replace an old pair of earbuds I had for use when exercising and walking. I like to listen to audio books, so I was less concerned with the audio quality than I would be for music, but I've found the sound quality quite good either way. Even if I am listening for long sessions, the battery has so far been great and I haven't had any problems with them running out of power or deteriorating over multiple charges. Overall, these are very solid headphones, and I'd recommend them if you are looking for some convenient, light weight earbuds that are relatively not very expensive and easy to carry around. The case can be charged without the earbuds, which I've been doing over night, and haven't had any issues with power throughout the day. Sound quality is very nice as well. I can hear them very well even in traffic or with other distracting sounds about. I was also concerned about the comfort, since I tend to leave them in for hours. Haven't had any problems with that, so the ergonomics are solid. I forget I have them in a lot of the time, and they even function as earplugs when I turn the sound off, which I find very useful if I'm somewhere where there's a lot of ambient sound I want to block out. They stay in my ears well, which was a concern I had since my other headphones I used to have would get jostled loose if I moved around to much. The carrying case is small enough to fit in my pocket, and I was pleasantly surprised that you can charge it on the go from just the case. Last note, the blue tooth range might not be a concern for a lot of people, but I end up walking around a lot while leaving my phone on its charger, and the range is quite good.
