    • Loose connectors will prevent function
I wish I had read the other comments before I bought it. Hook it up, you will see the single snap fit connector is loose on the unsecured side. It will power up for 3 seconds before losing connection. If you take the fuse out and put it back in you will see it will do another 3 second power cycle. The media could not be loaded. I was hesitant at first based on the low price and some of the reviews, but this stereo works great. Wireless CarPlay works great after setting up Bluetooth. You have to do this first for CarPlay to work. I put this in my 2001 F250 and got a metra harness adapter kit. I also got the double din adapter kit but this thing fit so snugly I didn’t need it. The screen could be a little more responsive but it’s not too bad. Backup camera works great. I had some trouble at first but as long as you ensure all your connections are correct, it should work fine. ... show more

Sometimes Bluetooth will randomly disconnect and I have to factory reset the entire head unit. but other than that it works perfect I also have a aftermarket tailgate handle camera that fit and works well.

Finally got a professional to install this. Required me to buy a new clip for my wire harness, required me to purchase a stereo head holder/ faceplate, and on top of that extreme connectivity issues. Cannot connect with Bluetooth or even wired. Now I'm out of return window because I wanted a professional install and not someone inexperienced. Wiring diagram and instructions were easy enough, I like how slim it is compared to deep double din units. because I was installing on an old volvo 240, I needed it to be slim in order to clear the vent tubes which are immediately behind. Started up and had great sound right away! rear camera is cheap as to be expected, planning on buying a nicer camera and installing later. I wish I new how to add my own screen savers. the system exceeds quality for the price. I'm going to install a antiglare screen protector to protect/ inhance the quality. ... show more
