This stereo would nave been 5 stars if the video would display for backup cam. The led lights would light up, so I knew it was getting power. Upgrading from a Blaupunkt that needed a wired connection for phone screen mirroring, so after the video from the camera would not show on screen I swapped the Blaupunkt head unit back in and the camera worked fine with it so this head unit is bad. Loved the fact it had a USB port on the back (can run hidden usb cable to phone charger). The Steering wheel remote was very poor quality and the wrong type really. After opening the battery cover to install battery it did not want to stay on and its an IR remote (line of sight) so half the time it did not work. Should have been RF. IR it don't always require a direct line of site to work as it can reflect off some surfaces but it was very hit an miss especially if you turned the wheel at all. Is it easy to do? Yes. You WILL need a fuse tap, but besides that, it's color to color. It DOES do apple carplay, you just have to READ the instructions unlike some people here who expect it to work for them. Once you set up bluet and a wifi connection to the stereo, carplay turns on automatically and work's seamlessly. ... show more

We got to stereo in then, when we tried to install it got all the wearing in it didn't even work. We tried other ways too. Still did not work, would not power up at all. We would not recommend.

Great radio for the price! Fit my 2009 Honda CRV fine once I bought a dash kit. I did have to purchase a wire harness. You will probably need to purchase a longer wire if you want to use the backup camera.
