I'm not sure why I bought a microscope, but it has come in handy. Most labels on medicine bottles are too small for me to read, even with a magnifying glass. Solution: the microscope! I work on laptops and sometimes it's hard to tell where a circuit board or connection is broken. Solution: the microscope! In the two pictures I've included, I was using the microscope by hand, not mounted. Remember in science class, it was better mounted, zoomed in and focused, the light reflected perfectly into the viewer? Same situation here, though it comes with a helpful LED. Yes, things can be blurry, but anyone complaining about that is just pointing out the nature of the device ... it's a microscope! ... show more

Have to hold really still and not breath for a second to try and get a picture that’s not blurry. If I sit and use the stand it works. I needed this to check cannabis plants. Can’t hold it and use it very well at all because of the blurriness. Not clear on close ups.

I got this so I can Inspect my plant collection for spider mites. It gives a clear picture but a little tricky to keep still or navigate while looking at the screen. That might just be a me problem though.

The media could not be loaded. Updated, still figuring it out, However I believe I’ve figured it out pretty well for what I use it for. My kids like it. I like that I can carry it in my pocket. Watch a YouTube video to set it up to your device easy after your first time. I check trichomes on plants and coins. I found mites on a plant that I couldn’t spot even with a magnifying glass. the one I received has a defect . It’s pretty cool, I wish I could exchange it because I think it’s a decent product. I believe the camera is misaligned. It seems to have a fish eye view like a bubble almost. I’ll try to take pictures, just realized you can adjust the pixels, maybe that will fix it. For the price, it's an amazing buy. It's not perfect, and the app doesn't run well, but I have had great results with plugging it into my laptop (then open the camera app, then choose the secondary camera input). I use this at work to inspect PCBs and have been satisfied so far.
