I bought this, not knowing what to expect. I have a 2021 Toyota 4Runner and always hated having the cable attachment for my phone. This is game changing. Truly changed my entire driving experience. It connects perfectly. It’s unobtrusive (I even stuck it into a small cavity in my dash using double-sided tape. I looked at A LOT of iPhone Wireless CarPlay dongles but most of them were not very reliable according to the reviews. I saw this one at a reasonable price with decent reviews do I ordered it. The unit joined right up with my device’s Bluetooth signal with no issues and has worked just fine since then. CarPlay is now accessible anywhere from 20 to 45 seconds after I start the car (2019 Toyota RAV4). Connection seems solid, but I have only used it for a few days. Time will tell. Only issue is that my phone will not connect with my home WiFi network until my car is turned off and the WiFi signal on the dongle terminates. This impacts my ability to use my smart garage door opener when I drive up to the garage. The smart opener depends on a home WiFi connection to work. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5. ... show more

I bought a 2022 Rav4 Hybrid that has Apple Car Play but not wireless, so I had to use a cord to connect my phone. With this little gadget, I can even have my phone in my pocket and it still connects. I like that it doesn't charge the phone since mostly I use Maps when in town going to new places that are at most 30 minutes away. It was easy to set up and I have my spouse's phone set up with it also. I'll still use the cable to connect on long drives since I will need the charging for long drives (Apple Maps uses a lot of battery power) but for in town and hands free calls and messages, this is a nifty little gadget. ... show more

The manual kinda sucks, only works with iPhone 6 and newer (no Android phones). Very well made (surprisingly, it is made in Germany!). Very pretty to look at. No button to push. Works beautifully! Highly recommend.

This product installed easily and quickly. And Although it could take a little time to connect to Bluetooth, it was within acceptable limits. After a week or so, though, it started losing its connection randomly. And two days ago, it started interfering with my SXM signal causing it to completely drop. So it's back to a cable connection. For reference, I drive a 2022 Toyota RAV4 And have an iPhone 15 Pro. UPDATE: The seller contacted me to see if they could help me resolve the issues I was having. I informed them that unfortunately I had already returned the item for refund. They contacted me again and told me that they were sending me another unit free of charge and asked that I troubleshoot the product. When I initially tried to connect the new product, I had even more issues than with the prior item. I contacted them once again and they sent me links and screenshots to do a firmware update. I did the update and after, 2 to 3 attempts connected the new device and it appears to be working so far. I upgraded my original two star rating to a four star based primarily on the seller's responsiveness to my issue, but also, because the product does appear to be working as advertised. Just be aware that it may require a firmware update depending on your model of vehicle and phone. ... show more
