I love wine (who doesn't?), especially reds. However, living in a condo, it's hard to maintain reds at a good serving temperature. No basement to stick these bottles in. I had toyed with the idea of a wine fridge for awhile, and finally pulled the trigger earlier this year. I did some research and the two main features I wanted were: 1) quiet operation, and 2) dual zone. It seemed pointless to shell out for a single zone fridge where I could only house either reds or whites, but not both. This unit was billed as a quiet/silent wine fridge, and happy to report that it definitely meets those standards. I can best describe the noise as a white noise / slight hum. Enough to know that it's running, but not enough to be distracting. The temperature zones are great - I've got reds on top, whites/rose on the bottom. In terms of design, the top section (reds) has the capability to store wines both lying flat, as well as standing up (2 bottles max). This is great because you can keep the wines flat for longer term storage, but if you have a vacuum wine stopper you can theoretically open a bottle, plug it back with the vacuum stopper, and then put it back in the wine fridge while standing up - keeping it fresh and drinkable for at least another week. Finally - the design is very sleek / modern. Looks great in a living room. Very happy with my purchase, and would recommend it to anyone who is like me - not a wine connoisseur but who is simply looking to make the most of their wines. ... show more

I selected this because I needed a black wine refrigerator with dual zone. This unit is a great complement to our kitchen. At first I thought it was a little noisy but it dawned on me... metal shelves vibrating when the compressor comes on. Once filled with wine, very little noise! The bottom area has a semi vertical storage area where one can place an opened but unfinished bottle. Maintains temperature very well but it does cycle very frequently - thus the 4 stars. Cycling is lessened when full but it does come on about every 2 to 3 minutes and run for almost 2 minutes. Makes me worry about the longevity of the unit with such frequent cycling. ... show more

Received my wine cooler pretty quick and it was delivered just fine, no issues. But once the box was opened, it was pretty obvious that this fridge was completely useless. The door was not on straight, cracks near the hinges, scratches on the corners and a dent on the side of the fridge. It was also very obvious that the door hinges were reversed - which usually wouldn't be an issue. The bottom hinge (which should go on the top) was pulling the door down. And the top hinge (which belongs on the bottom) had a bent in it that would lift the fridge door into place. You would think that you could just swap them... No, because there is a wire being fed through the door and hinge that prevents it from being removed or swapped. Also because the hinges are swapped, they don't properly fi, thus the door is cracked right where the hinge tries to connect. Where is QC?! This fridge was rated as one of the top wine coolers to purchase on almost every internet article I read... DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. Go buy yourself something else. And all Amazon did was send my complaint to the seller and give me a return shipping label; "just the middle man". I don't understand how a company can allow this fridge to go out the door? ... show more

I researched this thoroughly and felt that this was the best option for the price, given that I have a small space and wanted dual zones. I read the negative feedback and yet there was enough positive feedback that I thought it was worth moving forward with this unit. It arrived nicely packaged and undamaged, however the previous comments regarding attaching the door handles are spot on. It is not easy to feed the screws into the door handle holes while peeling back the rubber seal. After figuring out a way to do this and successfully attaching one of the door handles, I tackled the other. Unfortunately, there seemed to be something missing on the second door that would prevent the screw from penetrating almost all the way through to the glass front. Because of this, the screw is too long and will not screw all the way into the handle, leaving a 1/4" gap on the screw between the glass door front and the handle. I reached out to Amazon for help but was referred to the manufacturer. I placed a call into the manufacturer using the number Amazon provided but was only able to leave a voice mail (all agents were busy). 24 hours later I've not received a call back. My husband is on his way to the hardware store to try to buy shorter screws and/or washers that would prevent the screws from going as deep. I would return this item but it would be extremely cumbersome for me to try to pack it back up and haul it to UPS. Fingers crossed that my husband is able to correct the issue. I do not find the unit excessively noisy and do not hear a buzzing sound that is mentioned in other reviews. I would love to give this better reviews but the hassle with the door handle installation makes this just an ok unit. ... show more

We've had this wine cooler for a couple of months now. Works great, top zone at 44, bottom zone at 55. Stays consistently at temperature. This unit is very quiet. Received on time with no damage. Unpacked and waited 24 hours before powering up per instructions. Filled cooler about 50% full and turned on, took about 12 hours for cooler to reach temperature. You can hear compressor when its running, but I wouldn't say it's noisey. Wife likes it, so I'd purchase again. Larger bottles are a little difficult to place on bottom rack. ... show more
