I literally spent over a month researching beverage fridges. I specifically wanted something without a freezer that way I don’t have to unplug it and dethaw it. This is perfect and it keeps it at a nice cold 37° steady. It does not get too warm on the sides. The performance of it is fantastic as soon as I plugged it in within 30 minutes, it was at 37. I love that it locks with a key! The lighting is controlled by the press of a button and is really nice as well. It’s also incredibly quiet. I literally have it right near my bed and it doesn’t bother me whatsoever. I purchased a mini rolling cart that it sits on. TLDR; I researched over 100 fridges and this is the one you want. This is a really nice looking wine fridge. The controls are nice and bright and it's pretty quiet. We have it in a separate room but we can't hear it even when we walk by. I'ts like a refrigerator hum. The shelves are a little close together but if you buy regular sized wine bottles, like a Earthquake Zinfindale or a Barefoot Pino Grigio it will be fine. I had to move a few shelves out to accomodate some larger bottles but there is still a lot of room. The one thing to be careful about is the delivery. I've read some reviews that the fridge has had some dents from shipping. Ours had a dent in the back of the fridge but it seems to be working fine. The delivery person did point it out to us and said if it was a problem to send it back. So we have kept the big box and the styrofoam just in case. If we have no probolems in 30 days we will toss the box. ... show more

So far so good. I never hear it running but I am 71 and don't hear well. In 90+ temp it does tend to rum nearer to 40 degrees and I have it set at 37°.
