I bought this to keep in my car since we’ve moved further north and the winter storms of snow & ice have been fairly common. I remember reading the review left by a lady who said she bought this for her son for Christmas & it had broken on the 2nd use…but the other reviews sounded okay & the product listing said “anti-scratch ABS” and works “on the toughest ice” for the ice scraper. I am very particular about my car, I bought it new about 3 years ago and have invested a lot of time & money into it. I was, until moving, the Indiana & Kentucky chapters President of a car club for these type cars. This should say how much I am easy on my car, take car of it, etc. I now have a scratch on the fender of my car & the “ice knuckle” broke. I am contacting Amazon, who have this far been rather useless with this item, for a solution. The mirror & windshield covers are on my car under about 12-18 inches of snow & ice. Won’t be able to return that for a while. Why if I am so into my car is it in the elements? Because it still is my daily driver but I wash it multiple times per week (including hand washings by me), detail it out weekly & post photos on IG regularly. It’s a daily that doesn’t look like a daily. Will not recommend this item to friends and family sadly. I unfolded windshield cover and was not happy it was so light. Even with cheap straps for side mirrors and the flaps with something to prevent it from being pulled while doors clised the main part is thin and very light. Likely to gly upwards with decent wind gusts. I got it to try and help with ice one windshield and possibly snow since i just moved closer to east coast from west coast CA. I liked the concept and it says covers wipers. Its very large for my windshield but thats okay. Might only be helpful like i hope but doesnt seem very easy to be foldable to fit back in storage bag either. Ill update later..... ... show more
