The media could not be loaded. This is the second basketball goal that we’ve purchased, and here are our thoughts so far. + Assembly is simple as long as you follow the instructions. It took about 30 minutes. + we like that the height is adjustable and it’s a good size for playing. + it works as expected and and is fun for the whole family. + it’s much easier to move around than our other one. Base isn’t too heavy. + it looks nice and we love the red/white/blue net. + it doesn’t seem as stable/sturdy as our other goal. As you can see in the video clip, it shakes a bit when the ball hits the backboard. We’ve only had it a few weeks, so time will tell if it will hold up. This is not the best hoop on the market i believe but i think it is worth the price. Installation took a while or maybe it's just me since i'm not a handy person. My husband just assembled this in an hour to an hour and a half by himself. He said that the written instructions weren't very helpful but that the video on how to assemble it was very useful. This hoop seems like a quality product. I will update this review if necessary as the kids use it but for now, it looks great, has a breakaway on the hoop, a quality good sized backboard, a regulation size hoop, and seems sturdy enough. And contrary to what some of the other reviewers are saying, this hoop is adjustable to many different heights with there being 4-inch increments between the adjustment holes -- HOWEVER, you must get out your wrench and remove and reattach the bolts to adjust it (see accompanying photo). It does not slide up and down quickly/easily. Yet, for us, we prefer the sturdiness of this design and don't need to change the height again anyway until our son is older. Also, please note, that as we have the hoop pretty low right now (maybe around 6 feet), we are only using one of two sections of the middle pole that holds the hoop. When we eventually want it to be a lot higher than it is now, we will use the second section of the middle pole as well to extend its height options. ... show more

This was a good hoop. Assembly was ok. It looks nice. It’s easy to adjust up and down. Feels a little wobbly at times. After a couple years the backboard broke though. I’m considering replacing it with the same one because the price point is nice. I would give it 4 stars but the backboard broke so I’m giving it 3. Not a bad hoop though. Update: after posting this review I was contacted by customer support and was given a partial refund which I used to purchase a new one. Same good quality. Child loves going to the playground to play basketball but the court is often occupied by other people. When super crowded he doesn’t get a chance to play so I got him this hoop to play at our home backyard. Installation was pretty straightforward. My husband assembled it in less than half hour. At first we totally put it up wrong. We installed the base facing frontwards which was wrong but we didn’t realize it until our son started playing. But correcting it was not bad, we just easily adjust it to the back. We put water into the base and to keep it stable and it seemed pretty sturdy after. You can put on additional weight to the top if you want to make it more solid. But just the water is enough for me. Even with the water inside, it was easy for me to move the hoop from one corner to another corner of the backyard. Very mobile. This basketball hoop can be adjusted to about 10 feet high which I’m looking forward to use when he’s a little older. Right now the medium height is perfect for him since he’s only nine. Child had been playing it for the past couple of days, very fun and no complaints from him so far. Highly recommend. ... show more

For the price, it's not horrible. The assembly wasn't bad, the quality was ok. We got this because we weren't sure my kiddo was going to stick with basketball or if it would just sit in the front yard collecting spider webs. My boy loved it and we frequently used it. Within a month I noticed some rust on the screws. Within a few months the back board would turn when the basketball hit it for a backboard shot. Then, 11 months in, we noticed the sound was different when hitting the backboard. It cracked just about the square. If your kiddo wants to play all the time, I do not recommend this hoop and would definitely look for a more sturdy or higher end hoop. However, if your kid just wants to shoot around from time to time and doesn't seem that invested, this is a decent temporary hoop. ... show more
