TLDR, :) We purchased one 10 months ago. A few days ago my son complained that the panel peeled off and he could not play. And I contacted the seller, they sent me a replacement for free. The new story is, we installed it yesterday. It was about the same amount of time to do it again. iMO, the new one, which is a newer model, is much better than the old one which has been discontinued. The. new one uses screws instead of glue to stick the panel. It had a larger base so it is more stable in case of strong wind. The hood height is now easier adjustable. If you buy this, make sure to assemble in a well ventilated area. Whatever chemical they used to package or paint this woth, it was strong and left a bad taste in my mouth for a while. We got this one for my daughter especially because it has a wide range of adjustment heights. Usually these full sized hoop only come in tall size or small pool size. This one adjusts to a medium size which is perfect for my 6 year old. Plus the adjustment is super easy without a need for tools. Putting it together took me about 40 minutes by my self. This was a good hoop. Assembly was ok. It looks nice. It’s easy to adjust up and down. Feels a little wobbly at times. After a couple years the backboard broke though. I’m considering replacing it with the same one because the price point is nice. I would give it 4 stars but the backboard broke so I’m giving it 3. Not a bad hoop though. Update: after posting this review I was contacted by customer support and was given a partial refund which I used to purchase a new one. Same good quality. Child loves going to the playground to play basketball but the court is often occupied by other people. When super crowded he doesn’t get a chance to play so I got him this hoop to play at our home backyard. Installation was pretty straightforward. My husband assembled it in less than half hour. At first we totally put it up wrong. We installed the base facing frontwards which was wrong but we didn’t realize it until our son started playing. But correcting it was not bad, we just easily adjust it to the back. We put water into the base and to keep it stable and it seemed pretty sturdy after. You can put on additional weight to the top if you want to make it more solid. But just the water is enough for me. Even with the water inside, it was easy for me to move the hoop from one corner to another corner of the backyard. Very mobile. This basketball hoop can be adjusted to about 10 feet high which I’m looking forward to use when he’s a little older. Right now the medium height is perfect for him since he’s only nine. Child had been playing it for the past couple of days, very fun and no complaints from him so far. Highly recommend. ... show more

Ignore the labels for the bolts as at least 3 of the bags were incorrectly numbered. Best part was assembling the whole thing to only have to redo the very first set of bolts and place them in the correct location, the very last set of bolts :\ Wobbly design but a good starter hoop
