  • GAMECHANGING
This pump is what makes my life as an on-the-go mamma go round. My life is seriously so much better because this exists, and after 3 months with this as my bff, I had to write a review. I am no stranger to pumps. I own three pumps, a Medela symphony I bought off eBay, this pump, and a spectra s1. I discovered this last and it is by light years my favorite. I remarkably get more production out of this, it is more convenient, I can be mobile, and it doesn’t take up a whole dang XXL tote to just leave the house. The design is brilliant - 2 parts to wash vs 6 for the spectra or symphony. The size. Omg when I used to carry around a massive pump bag for all the dang parts. I was googling for the largest tote I could find. And those pumping bags are so ugly. Not anymore! I got the carry case and it fits in my purse along with everything else I’m taking with me - no extra pumping backpack! Pumping into auto sealing bags means that you can easily and hygienically pump ANYWHERE - your schedule is not confined by times you need to feed the baby! Pump while driving (and don’t spill milk all over your car!). Pump in an Uber. Pump while running errands. Pump while cleaning up the house. Pump on airplanes without people staring at you. Pump while at the dentist (yup I’ve done that too). Once I got the hang of it I could put it on in 25 seconds and get on with my day. Did I mention the production is higher than my friggin hospital grade Medela symphony?! I used the nipple sizer that came with the pump and learned I needed a 21mm flange, which I bought and works great. Use the sizer! Once I’m done I toss the bags into my ceres chill bottle with some ice cubes and it keeps it cold all day. No pouring milk. No coolers. A few notes on the downsides mentioned- - Yes it’s not as comfy as my symphony, but the discomfort is mild and SO worth it for all the convenience. - Yes your breasts look a lot larger with it on (robo Dolly Parton is 100% accurate), and I have gotten the occasional double take but if you wear a nursing cover with it, people understand what you’re doing and it helps normalize working mammas on the go. - I pumped next to other mammas with traditional pumps and while yes this takes 25 minutes, I was actually done faster because it’s easier to get on, off, and clean up. - Im not sure if I would own this as my only pump. If I take a trip where I’m only pumping/not feeding, I do bring my spectra too to give my breasts some variety. - The reusable containers are not great (they leak too easily), but since I mostly use this on the go, I primarily stick to pumping in the bags so thats not a concern. Also their support team is fantastic if you’re struggling at all. They answer the phone in seconds. THANK YOU for making this and for making it possible to live & enjoy a full life while having a 6 month old. You make my life so much better. ... show more

  • DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY
Had problem after problem with this pump from day 1. It doesn’t read ounces correctly so it was constantly shutting off saying that the pump was full when there was only 1oz in there. It wouldn’t latch because “the valves needed to be rinsed or cleaned” even after I thoroughly cleaned everything exactly the way the manual says to. I ended up finally returning it and getting a much cheaper pump that I LOVE. My $150 pump is so much better and easier to deal with than willow. ... show more

  • Not for me
I think it’s a great idea and all that but not for my breast. My breast are too big big for this product. It is designed for small breast. I am sure it works great.

  • Constant suction makes it hurt.
Unlike other pumps I’ve tried this one has a constant suction instead of a massage technique. This suction makes it so my nipples are super sore and crack. Unfortunately it just wasn’t for me since I don’t produce a ton of milk. If you have a heavy let down this might work for you but just not what my body needs. ... show more

  • Ehhhh…. Not worth the splurge.
Honestly - I fell for the hype. I was really excited about how you can take naps while pumping and got this immediately. What I soon learned is that mmHg is really important - and that’s the strength of the suction. This particular pump does not have that strong mmHg. There are cordless pumps that have more mmHg than this one. Therefore, while this pump did give me decent volume of milk in 20 minutes, it wasnt giving me my optimal volume of 7-8 ounces total. Instead I got around 5 ounces. So for a pumper like me that does not exclusively pump nor do I enjoy pumping several times a day, I need the most volume per pump. This pump is good for emergencies like having to pump while taking a nap before a meeting… is it worth the extravagant price? Definitely not. I ended up ordering the Bella baby cordless pump, which appears to have a stronger suction, to see if I can get more volume when I pump while having mobility. It was also only $80, so I was willing to give it a go. So to sum up, if you’re an over producer, this may do wonders for you. If you’re an under producer, stay away. If you’re an average producer but are exclusively pumping, I would only use these for situations you cannot be tied to a wall with cords. ... show more

  • DONT DO IT
This pump was a nightmare for me. Number 1 - do your research. This pump uses continuous suction to maintain its “leak-proof” title. Constant suction on your nipples can be hell if you’re using the pump often enough. SORE SORE SORE. Number 2 - the pump gave me issues from day three on. It really only works OKAY if you’re pumping into the disposable bags ($$$). If you’re using the reusable containers there’s nothing but problems. The containers constantly error, inaccurately measure milk volumes, and the pump shuts off due to being full when the container is really no where near full. Constant errors and so many confusing parts that were hard to clean and it was time consuming to clean. I cried constantly just trying to pump with a newborn as I got error after error after error. I only used my pump for three weeks and Willow’s warranty had to replace almost every single part possible because a flexi tube broke or whatever - and the pump still doesn’t work correctly. I will say, Willow’s customer service is top notch. Every time I called with an issue they were super awesome. I’m guessing the customer service has to be awesome because the product is so inferior. I wish I hadn’t spent the money. After all of my problems I researched and found the Tsrete pump on Amazon, purchased it, and am so much happier. ... show more
