Description

Wiha's Combination Wrenches have a 12-point box-end design with contact points that apply force to the flat sides of the fastener head—rather than the corners—to prevent the fastener head from rounding off. The open-end is angled 15 degrees for flipping the wrench between rotations to maximize rotations and the box-end offset 15 degrees for finger clearance and working around obstructions that limit access to the fastener. The wrenches consist of premium-quality tool steel, have a Chrome-plated satin finish for corrosion protection, and the size profiles are boldly stamped on the handle for easy identification. The tools come conveniently stored in a soft modular foam tray for secure, space-saving storage. The foam tray is designed with high visibility tool callouts printed on each tray to easily return tool to its location. Wiha modular foam trays are made of durable laminated tri-layer foam and will fit in most toolboxes and pull out tool drawers. Wiha modular foam tray are the perfect solution for any storage or organization needs.

I was a little skeptical of spending that much money on a set of wrenches but was I glad I did!! The quality of these wrenches are unmatched compared to any other name brand wrench i’ve used. It’s pretty hard to find a set of ratchet wrenches that go past 19mm, that being said was one of the biggest reasons why I bought this set. I’m on a journey right now to upgrade all my tools slowly and this was one of the things very much needed! I’m looking forward to buying the regular combination wrench set for half the price whenever they come back in stock! ... show more

I compared many sets in this price range with Gearwrench offering some good competition with several models on this price range. But for fit, feel, and finish i found the wiha to be my favorite in the "non flex" wrench choices. Also considering the full selection of sizes in metric and sae as well as a quality storage tray it pushed ahead. The price of the set has large fluctuations. Ultimately I got the best set. I did look at sets by my favorite manufacturers (stahlwille and Gedore) but the range is limited. The rachet size/bulk is comparable to what they offer also. I also picked up the Williams flex head wrench sets to fulfill my flex needs. I am satisfied these tools will earn their keep. ... show more

Not the cheapest wrench set but certainly one of the very best. I have Snap-on, Milwaukee, Gearwrench, Craftsman and Facom. All turn a nut. All are reasonable value (even Snap-on to my mind).
