I would like to say this product is awesome. It hurts me to give it 4 stars but they said make sure you charge it every 4.5 to 5 days and it only lasts 2.5. Other than that it works great exactly what I needed. The radio colors got interference and didn't work when they were supposed to vibrated and shocked my dog when it was in the yard. I have it set to 70 feet and it actually works I’m surprised I had one that said it works up to 100 feet but it didn’t my dog kept jumping the fence but this one works he no longer jumps the fence

Will not hold a charge. Ordered 2, one for each dog, and neither will hold a charge longer than a day. They don't "pick up" the same number of satellites. Everytime my dogs come inside, when they go back out we have to reset the perimeter. Totally useless.

    • Convenient & works well if you do the training work
We’ve owned a number of wireless fences over the years and love that this one is portable. It’s also a great value at the price point compared to the others. The key to a well-performing wireless fence is an owner who will put in a bit of work training your dog to recognize what the warnings mean so they’ll know to turn back. We’ve always used small white flags inserted in the ground at the perimeter of the range, gradually walking the dog towards each flag & pull them back as soon as the collar first warns them. Once they’re used to the area you can remove the flags. Training our dogs to this fence worked just as well as with other ones. I like that you can set the center point anywhere using GPS and that the system is portable. BUT, I recommend doing a quick retraining for your dog if you move it to a new place (probably won’t need the flags since they’ll recognize the warnings if they’re already trained). You just need to let them know the fence is being used and the area they need to stay within. We’re very happy with this fence. ... show more

    • Too complicated for me...and my dog
The video made it seem easy--you just set up the boundaries, show your dog where they are, and the gadget takes care of the rest. She even just temporarily sets up boundaries, like when she goes to the park, for example. Sure. It seemed easy. Once I actually had it in hand, and was trying to figure it out, I discovered that getting my dog to understand the flags and not just pull them up was a whole 'nother level of hard. Now, my dog has not ever used any sort of invisible fence, so she's on a steep learning curve with that. I haven't given up, mind you. I just might need another person to help me figure it all out. ... show more
