  • Great product!
Color: Black Style: Shelving
LOVE this rack system!! I use it to house my 2 axolotl tanks (which are 20 gallons each) and a 5g land snail tank & it’s sooo sturdy! it was super easy to assemble and the instructions were very clear so idk what some of the reviews were talking about. great price & I would 100% buy again.

  • A little pricey but exactly what I was looking for
Color: Black Style: Shelving
In the picture, I purchased the rack on the left years ago, and it was so sturdy, I wanted another one but a little bit shorter. The product on the left is the one I just purchased from Amazon. It's exactly the height I wanted, and it's just as easy to put together. But one of the shelves was a bit bent. Not so bent that it was unusable- but that's why I took 1 star off for durability. Been using them as snake racks, they are great! ... show more

  • Useful, sturdy, adjustable
Color: Chrome Style: Shelving
I have six of these; four I bought recently and two I've used successfully for years. PROS: Easy to assemble - I hauled these down the basement ladder, while in their boxes (they are heavy), and assembled them by myself. The job of fitting the shelves (especially the first one) onto the vertical supports would have been much easier with a helper, but I figured out a technique that worked for me and did it all on my own. I'm 5'3". Adjustable - You can adjust the shelf height, which is very useful, but it must be done during assembly. Taking it apart to change the shelf height can be difficult. Spare parts - An extra set of shelf supports is included, in case you break one. None of mine broke during assembly, even when I had to take one apart a few times to get the shelf heights just right (another time a helper would have been good). Sturdy - These feel solid and heavy-duty. We store cases of wine and other heavy items on ours. We live in earthquake country. We've never had a big one when're we are but many smaller ones and these have been just fine. Attractive - Okay, this is subjective. For something used in a basement or garage (our applications) they are attractive. We replaced old plastic shelving and funky shelves someone built out of old and damaged kitchen cabinets. These make the space feel lighter, better to be in and cleaner. Functional - Seriously. The open wire shelves allow air-flow, which is important when storing anything in a climate that isn't completely arid. Their sturdiness means they are very functional for storing light and heavy loads. Adjustable - 'nuff said there. If you set the shelf heigh to just before the top of the support posts you can even hang bags and the likes off the corners (be sure the weight doesn't outstrip the shelf weight or what is loaded on it). The shelf construction lends itself to easy wall anchoring for extra safety (kids, earthquakes, etc.). CONS: Weight: Heavy-ish (also a pro). Hauling these might be difficult for an individual working alone or when moving in to/out of awkward places. Adjustment Method: Shelf height adjustment is best done during assembly, so you need to know what you are storing and its dimensions at the beginning. Shelves *can* be adjusted after the fact but it is difficult to pull the shelf up off of the plastic piece that holds it in place (partial friction fit). I recommend these shelves and bought more because we were so happy with the old ones (which are still going strong). ... show more

  • Some FYI about using this, good product
Color: Chrome Style: Shelving
As easy as any other baker's rack to assemble, they include extra fittings. I think some of the negative reviews are from people who haven't used these kinds of racks before, or just generally don't understand how they work. Each shelf fits on the two plastic pieces that clip around each of the 4 poles, the metal isn't meant to sit flush with the plastic. To get it snug you can use your body weight or a rubber mallet, no hammers that will deform the metal rack. My picture shows how it sits. The black plastic needs to fit into the grooves on the poles, it'll "click-in", thats how you ensure the shelves are level relative to the pole, and then the feet unscrew a bit to level the whole thing on your floor. Hope that helps some of you. ... show more

  • Good product. Here are tips on how to assemble
Color: Black Style: Shelving
This type of shelf is a little tricky to assemble so here are a few tips. First of all, make sure that everything that is supposed to point down does point down and everything that should point up does point up. All 4 feet must be down. The plastic half circle thingies are marked "top" and that part must point toward the top. They do not 100% click together. All of mine had a little space. Use a pit of painter's tape (easy to remove) to connect them. Count all the segment lines and make sure that all the plastic half circle thingies have the same amount of space between them. Now for the tricky part... One would think that the shelf goes with the side ridge facing up so that things do not slide off so easily. Not so! The side ridge thingies point down. That is because the metal circle at each corner of the shelf are wider on one side and narrower on the other. As they slide over the plastic half circles they compress and then the shelf cannot slide further down and is in place. Also the half circle plastic thingies also are narrower at the top and wider at the bottom. Hope this helps. These are a bit tricky the first time you put one together. I am using mine inside of an enormouse TV armoire that I was given (for free). I have it on my covered patio and I'm moving my garage work bench to the armoire as part of my de-junkifying the garage project. My garage has AC and I'm trying to make a larger and better gym and yoga space. Good luck! Reward yourself with an adult beverage when you succeed. ... show more

  • I love it no more carrying heavy gagets from spare room
Color: Black Style: Shelving
Wow. Love this shelf unit. About 28 bucks and it is a life saver for me. Takes all my gadgets and still have a shelf and half left. Jezz should have had it 10 year's ago. I have a really small work area counter. About 3 X 2. First time I have seen in years with gadgets filling it up . I only had 3 feet in far corner kitchen. This fit perfect. In that spot. Exact size as tables. Just measure as you go. Bottom shelf first. Middle then top. What looks like shelf edges his down. Took me 5 minutes figure that out. But I am 76 so give me little room for that. They give a extra plastic thing that snaps on shelf. Tied mine to leg at top so if ever needed it can be found. Better to use masking tape so it can be seen eaiser How I carried a heavy Cuisinart grinder chopper and a box of extra blades from a spare bedroom I use for storage. ... show more
