Bought this for vacation and it worked out wonderfully! The set up wasn’t hard at all as long as you have two people you can get it set up in two minutes. Taking it down is simple, just have to be mindful of how you’re folding up the tent to get it to squeeze back into the bag it comes in. Worked perfect for exactly what we needed it for. Held our things, let us get out of the sun if needed, snack breaks, etc. I definitely recommend! I did a lot of looking before purchasing one, but based on the reviews I chose this one. I have been searching for the 'perfect' beach tent for the past year. I ordered the WhiteFang Beach Tent Anti-UV Portable Sun Shade Shelter because it had high ratings. The comments which drew me to it were that the poles were thicker than the average poles. I received the beach tent two or three days after I ordered it. I immediately opened it in my living room. I purchased the mint, and the color is what I expected. Because I have set up several tents, the set up for this was a breeze. Yet, anyone who can read the easy-to-follow instructions, will be able to put this up with maybe a tiny bit of patience (if this type of set up is something foreign to you). This is a bit larger than I expected, which I am happy about. The day after receiving the tent, my husband set it up outside for my 5-year-old grandson to 'camp'. My husband is 5'10, and he is able to stretch out in it (parallel with the opening panel, with head at one side window and feet at the other). My grandson, husband, and myself laid down as though we were actually camping, and it had enough room for all of us to lie on our back. The tent is easy to take down and roll up, before placing it into the storage/carry bag. This all stated, I did purchase it to use at the waterpark this summer, as well as to bring when we go other places where we may want some protection from the sun. It is quite compact, and will easily fit in my suitcase if we ever go to a place like Hawaii (saves on tent rental on the beach). The entire front panel unzips, making one large opening. My 5-year-old grandson can lie down with his head at the opposite side (i.e. the back panel) of the front panel, and his feet are still inside the tent. I forgot to see how far my husband's feet came out of the tent. There are three vented window panels, one one each of the sides, as well as one on the back panel. Even with the flaps placed in the up position, a breeze will be allowed to come through the tent (due to the flaps not being zipped, but rather, held in place by loops). There are anchors that can be used to put into the ground in order to secure it down; and, there are pockets on the outside walls that can hold sand when at the beach. The material seems to be of good quality. With good and proper treatment and care, I am confident this beach tent will last a very long time! One suggestion I have, is to place a tarp/blanket type item under the tent floor to protect it from things that might poke a hole in it, or cause wear (we do this with all of our tents in order to protect the integrity of the flooring, and to help it remain in great condition). For this tent, I have a fold up picnic-type blanket that we have used in the waterpark over the past few years. It will be perfect for protecting our floor. ... show more

Good little beach tent, sufficient sun coverage, easy to set up. Only downside is I wish there was a secondary “roof” to go over top the tent to provide better coverage as it was still pretty bright underneath. could’ve been due to the color (I bought the Mint - should’ve bought a darker color), but overall good tent for decent sun coverage for day at beach. Can easily be used as an actual tent for light camping. Easy to take down and folds into a very small, compact bag. I purchased this for an ultra event that I had. The price was right comma twenty of room inside for me to put my sleeping bag and bags in. I loved that I was able to hang my lantern inside. It was super easy to set up and break down. We had some strong winds that blew in late late saturday night into early morning and the tent held. This is not a tent for heavy rain. I did stay dry but I did notice. The edges were getting pretty wet. And damp. But i'm an avid camper and I knew this when I purchased the tent. Got this tent for my friends and our dogs. It's a great place to sit out of the sun with nothing in the way. It does zip all the way up, but we kept it open for a "catch-all" effect. Easy to set up and great quality for a little pop up. My dog took a nap in it at one point. Someone came and played their sound bowl in it. My girlfriend and I ate our breakfast in there together. People of Amazon I've tried this tent so you don't have to. Let's start with the positives It's cheap Has different colors to choose from Has enough space for 2 people comfortably Ok so now for the negatives It's cheap The tent material is really thin looks like it would tear easily The tent poles are brittle and they almost broke when I set it up The steaks are super short and will not work for beach sand. I set it up before i used it at the beach and I'm glad I did. It would be so frustrating to set up and take down at the beach. I'll be returning this ... show more

This tent was awesome at the beach! It kept the kids out of the sun and the wind. Definitely need two people to put up if it’s windy. Was windy when taking down so once I got home, I had to re-fold and put it in the bag. Comes with plastic and metal stakes. Lost one of the metal ones in the sand. Next time I’ll make sure I put colored string or tape so I don’t loose another one. Love the pockets that you fill with sand.
