The media could not be loaded. I have 3 different pair of night vision now, this one from Wheyda being one of them. So my review is on these night vision goggles, and how they stack up against my experience with others. Pro's.: - One of the best feeling in the hand. Sturdy, grippy, easy to hold. They feel durable and weatherproof. - Cool design - Buttons light up! This helps tremendously in the dark... But it would be nice to toggle it off if not needed. - Excellent button lay out for me. You still have to sort of remember which button does what, but they are well placed and feel good. - Nice screen, easy to see menus and intuitive. Easy to view in either day or night mode. - Digital zoom. Some have digital only, some have both optical and digital, this one has an digital zoom that is easy to find and adjust. Digital pics and viewing does pixelate a bit. May not zoom as far as others but works well for this pair. - Focus wheel adjustment - Nice adjustments for various lighting conditions. More than others. - Nice case - Memory card included Con's: - Not rechargeable. Most others are equipped with rechargeable battery/power. - Sort of big compared to others. Nothing too major - Digital zoom. It's not terrible but I have yet to find one that is impressive. I’ve had the chance to use this a couple times at night watching for wildlife from a tree stand, I’ve had zero issues with the vision as it is able to view the entire area it is aimed at, the only downside is a slight clarity loss upon zoom which is to be expected They are easy to use and I am able to have easy access to it via lanyard, and can aim it to view a dark field in good light. Very easy way to spot movement in a dark environment Pros: Good view Good zoom Consistent lighting Cons: Slight clarity loss upon far zoom Overall I am very pleased with these and having it set up on constant view out of a tree stand it makes it very easy to spot movement in the dark. ... show more

I'm not sure how they call this a "night vision goggles" as there's really nothing especially "goggly" in the design. That said, it's a fun and useful night vision camera. The screen is decent, and on a par with the image quality from the sensor itself, so it's hard to complain. The infrared function definitely works. I found the need to manually focus somewhat off-putting, but it's easy enough to actually use. I think the biggest drawback is that the buttons are pretty noisy. Digital zoom is OK, but since you can't use it without the buttons, you can't really engage it without drawing attention to yourself. Also, while it's great that the infrared illumination won't shine visibly to the thing youbare looking at, the fact that theres a large glowing screen illuminating your face might give away your presence anyway, Overall, it's not a bad purchase. ... show more

    • Nice... But Very Expensive When Considering Quality and Specs

Anyone who spends time in the outdoors knows to move before the sun rises and after it sets. Given that, for awhile I've been interested in trying the various night vision products in the market to try find the solutions to keep an eye on animal movement before dawn and/or after dusk... without breaking the bank, After trying a few entry level products in the category I decided to snag a set of these night vision binoculars. First and foremost, these night vision binoculars check the boxes on comfort and portability. They fit comfortably in the hand, and they are lightweight. Additionally, the image quality displayed on the binocular screen is fantastic, even at 8x zoom. During daytime use, the screen produces 4k image quality that is crisp and clear at any range. During nighttime use, the contrast between objects is distinct and clear in most tests I've completed, which makes the unit effective for its intended purpose. As a result, these binoculars do a great job in monitoring wildlife when tracking, hunting, or fishing anytime of day. Another positive aspect of these binoculars is the ease of use afforded by the intuitive and well-placed controls on the unit. The buttons included are easy to interact with when using the binoculars, and the menus and controls are easy to understand and navigate. The use of the focus is dynamic, which makes it very easy to get a clear view of anything in the field... and snap a picture of it with the built in image/video capture feature and included memory card. The major drawback of these night vision binoculars is their price. Realistically, the build quality of these binoculars is on par with night vision binoculars that are half the price. The plastic used on the body of the unit feels incredibly thin, which may make it prone to damage or cracking if it takes a tumble in the field. Additionally, these binoculars do not come with rechargeable batteries. Rather, you have to load them with eight(!) AA batteries (not included) and replace them over time. The binoculars can get up to 16 hours of total run time from a set of batteries, which is decent... but the fact this can't be recharged like nearly every other set of night vision binoculars on the market is a major letdown. While this set of night vision binoculars has plenty of excellent features and 4k visuals the price, build quality, and battery setup holds this back from being a 5 star product. They still do a terrific job in the field... but I can't give them more than a 3/5 star rating. ... show more
