The fabric is pretty at a glance but it in no way compares to quilt shop fabric, doesn't even compare to JoAnn's. It is too coarsely woven. You can look at it and see the weave and you shouldn't be able to see that with examining it at very close proximity. It doesn't feel soft or smooth. I probably won't invest my time to make something out of it. ... show more

these fat quarters are of nice quality cotton. they are bright and cheery colors and designs. will work well into my quilting and sewing projects. the price is also very good for this many fat quarters.
