+ cute - small opening - doesn't hold much - bat eyes will likely be wonky They're cute, but small, even for a candy dish; I knew the dimensions, but the opening is small enough to make it a bit awkward to stick your hand into. It's also best for small candies like candy corn or jelly beans--it'll only fit like a dozen mini chocolate bars, for example. This is too small for me to reasonably use as a candy jar because I don't want to have to refill it so often, but I like them enough that I'm using them as decor with electric tea lights. My biggest problem is the quality--the orange eyes of the bats are painted on sloppily. I bought a second one to see if one was just wonky, but the one I added a picture of ended up being the better of the two (forgot to take a pic of the worse one, sorry!). The eyes won't match each other, and won't fill the obvious indention where the paint is supposed to go; they won't even always be round. And let's be honest, 60% of the reason you want this if for the cuteness, and wonky eyes detract from it a bit, if that's a deal breaker for you. ... show more

I gave 3 stars because they are very cute and good quality but not big enough for a candy bowl at all! The image they show is deceiving. These are so small you can’t fit more than a handful of tiny pieces of candy. Could fit a battery operated tea light candle at most. That’s about it. I will keep them and use them with tea lights but this should have cost less money considering the size. ... show more
