It wasn’t hard to put together. The directions were easy to follow. There were no instructions for threading the lights, it took a minute and I managed to do it.i used the cupcake stands(2 of them) 1 stand with Blue lights and 1 stand with Yellow lights. I had to use scotch tape to tape the wires on the lights down. I used the stands show off the cupcake for my 50th Class Reunion. The blue and yellow represented my School Colors (blue and Gold) My cupcakes looked amazing!!!! I would like to know can other colored light be purchased for the stand.if so where and the cost please. ... show more

Once I figured it out what I was doing, it was easy! (Can you tell I don’t build, lol) The only problem I had was that the top cylinder that stabalized the third tier was missing. Without it, you couldn’t finish the top tier without it. I called the company, in their description, claimed they would make everything better. However, chat bot said I had to talk to Amazon, and connected me Amazon customerer and promptly made it better Only I didn't have time to wait for them contact the company or wait for a new one. The wedding was the next day! When I asked the very kind representative from Amazon how long I had to send it back, knowing that because of the wedding, my time was limited. So she refunded me the cost on the spot, and didn't require sending it back. That said, it was very pretty and held a lot of mini cupcakes. about 40, without the third tier. I didn't put the lights in, too much work for my time frame, and I didn't know if there would be a electrical outlet near by. Pros: once you got the parts assembled, it was pretty sturdy. It held up well, and did what it was intended to, in my case, hold cupcakes. I got a lot of compliments on it. Cons: Don't get it if you are on a tight schedule, you will have to wait for Amazon to talk to the company, and for them to send you a new one. Amazon will replace it, but again, takes time. Yes, I recommend this product, with reservations. This is based only on your time restraints. (see above) Once put together it's sturdy. and pretty, and adds a lot to your event. Not many of the cupcake holders can say that. (other brands may say they are sturdy, but it's not true. Take it from somebody who put together quite a few! ... show more

Doesn't hold as many cupcakes as you would think, so order up or multiple. I ordered 2. The lights are a pain to put on, but it is worth it. This looked very pretty at our wedding. Pleased with the purchase.

These stands are awesome and look so pretty with custom cupcakes, match any decor ! This one though is the second one I ordered for a much larger scale event I was hosting. I purchased the same exact one new previously with no problems, it's been used at quite a few events in about 3 years now and boy do favors and cupcakes look great on it. not even so much as a scratch after multiple events. I decided since I've never had any issues yet with used like new or used in great condition items on amazon to give it a try and save a few bucks. Wow- was I wrong. I didn't think to open it when it arrived, they're quick to put together ( under 3 mimutes) and didn't have any problems with the 1st one I had received so I opened the package the day of my event only to be very disappointed. The top tray and middle tier were cracked in half and taped together with clear tape! Thank goodness I had the original stand and enough room for 84 cupcakes without needing all the tiers on the new one I ordered-honestly the 5 tiers are large enough I could have got away with putting all the cupcakes on one stand if need be but wanted a more appealing look. we put some flowers on the tiers that were cracked to cover them up for the event and all went well but come on- "used like new" or "used great condition" definetely did not apply here.. the thing could have passed for something someone left at the dump for trash- packed that right back up for a return. Easy to assemble the plexiglass part…the lights were another story. I think I spent as much time untangling as it took to be shipped from China! Still looks beautiful! Now I have to find a place to store it after the event so I don’t have to go through that torture again.

I made the dessert 🧁 display for a friends Graduation 👩🏾🎓 party 🎉. The stand is nice & decent but not very sturdy to fit the required number of cupcákes specified in the description. It definitely will not hold the heaviness of a cake 🎂 . Another friend of mine purchased these for another graduation party 🎉 I was preparing desserts 🧁 for.. I said, “Absolutely not! The cake will end up on the floor with these stands”. The esthetic is nice 😊, & the lights, but my husband had to use little acrylic rods to make the stand a lot more sturdy (a suggestion from one of the reviewers.) 😊 thanks 🙏🏽 I do not like working this hard to make the product better than it was supposed to perform; the way it says it was supposed to in the first place. I purchased this stand as a test run to see 👀 if I would purchase more. Probably not. 👎🏽 It looks nice but not very sturdy.
