So i purchased this recently to see if it'll be comfortable riding my bike and playing Pokemon Go on my phone. Turns out it was a great choice. Case feels pretty firm. Very easy to install and use with the phone. I haven't encountered any issues with the touchscreen either. The touchscreen on my phone hasn't had one issue since i've bought this and put about 100 miles of riding with it installed on my bike. It also has a good amount of room for other items in there like my wallet, airpods case, keys, and mini portable battery pack. I'd say i give this a 4.9/5 stars. The reason i give it a 4.9/5 is because the straps that hold the case in place are extremely long. Nothing a pair of scizzors can't fix but i wish it didn't come with so much velcrow. I had to wrap some of the extra length around the bike frame since i didn't want to cut it. Otherwise, this is a great purchase! One last thing - I have an iphone 13 max and it fits nice and snug. So i wouldn't worry about having a big phone. The phone hold on the inside of two flaps with velcrow on them. It can easily fit/hold a smaller phone if needed. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Video review compares 4 options for these types of bags. Of the 4, this one has the lowest profile, good size, well made, excellent zipper. iPhone 13 screen works well behind the plastic, even with my cold weather gloves on! Don't like the interior mesh though. The size of the space is good but the mesh limits the size of an item that you can put in it (see video). I suppose you could permanently cut the mesh out, that would leave an open space with no divider functionality, which could be totally fine. ... show more

After I had already purchased a hard plastic phone case for my new bike from a retailer I found this on Amazon and decided this was a better option. This must be the newer model because the previous one would not ship to my area and then when I ran the search again I found this current version and was able to get it at a good price. I love that it is waterproof and durable. It's easy to install and you don't need any tools. The velcro straps are very long and you have to wrap them a couple of times or cut them but I guess better more material than less. My only complaint not having actually ridden on my bike with it attached is that the velcro closure to hold your phone to the plastic outer case is not in my opinion the best means of holding it because it feels like it could wobble around and it would be hard to actually is your phone screen with that gap. I tested it out and it seems okay but I feel like after time out on the trail I don't know how secure it would stay. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. It was a better value than the one that I was originally looking at because has room for storage under it where the other one was more of a phone holder only. Updated to add: after riding my bike with this case attached, I found it held perfectly and stayed in place. I was grateful for the extra length of velcro strap because my legs kept hitting it as I pedaled so I needed to move it an inch or so forward but the attachment point on my bike was thicker so I needed more room in the strap to accommodate it. ... show more

In theory this is an awesome product. My phone fit and worked perfectly even with a case and the storage space was pretty solid. However it just sits way too low on my bike and is out of my field of view when i really need it. I have to bend my neck downwards more than Id like to, taking my eyes off of the road almost completely. Aside from that it can get in the way when getting on and off my bike and takes up half of my frame between my seat and handlebars. Overall it did its job and might be perfect for some people, but not for me. I just ended up getting a handlebar mount for my phone and a bag that attaches under my seat. ... show more

    • Good Overall with a Few Caveats

This is definitely what I needed to store my phone when doing long bike rides. However, when using my Google Pixel 6, when the sun is out and the phone is in this bag, my phone overheats and shuts off in the middle of a ride. This messes up my Strava ride data. I had better luck when I did not wrap it in the velcro and just left it zipped up but loose inside. Even then, it tends to heat up and shut down by itself during a particularly hot day. On a day without a lot of sun and normal temperatures below 80 degrees, I had no problem. Overall, it's a good product because the phone can easily be seen, touchscreen works, and the bag size is ample. The mounting velcro wraps around my top bar easily for any degree of tightness and flexibility, so there is no need to screw in any additional mounting bracket. It will meet most riders' needs.
