The media could not be loaded. I purchased this generator to run my camper and the lights and power tools in the house while I remodel it. The generator arrived early on shipment. I was impressed with that. It was easy to assemble 2 back wheels. slide the pin through the wheel, washer on the backside of wheel, slide in the pin into hole on mounting bracket and put locking pin through wheel pin to hold it to generator. The two rubber supports in the front. Four bolts and they are mounted to the underside of the frame. The assembly part is finished. Some of the handy features are. It has a very sturdy fold down handle on the front of it for moving it around. It’s not too heavy. It is extremely well-built welds look excellent. heavy duty. lotta bang for the buck on this unit, ladies and gentlemen. The noise level is reasonably low. in the camper, I have had the electric heater and the microwave going at the same time and did not trip the breaker on the generator like my last 3600 power inverter super quiet generator did. the power just keeps coming out of this generator it starts very easy. I’ve only had to take two pulls on the starting rope one time so far. You only have to use the choke if it’s below 50° well that’s the lowest it’s been for me so far. I’m very happy with the purchase of this beast of a unit!! I highly recommend this to anybody looking for a back up or weekend generator for their camper/cabin. Westinghouse. A name you can trust! It arrived in perfect condition. The assembly was easy. Adding the oil a fuel was simple. Easy to start and ran flawlessly. It didn't miss a beat. I added a load to make sure the generator was functional. I turned off the fuel and let the carburetor run dry for storage. I would highly recommend this generator. I haven't had to use it as of yet but it seems to be a quality generator for the price. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Arrived with minor damage to the frame and only ran on full choke as shown in the video. With the choke off the generator would hunt and eventually stall out. After some research and troubleshooting I confirmed that it was an issue with one of the carburetor jets. I was unable to clean the carburetor properly without removing it, so I took the opportunity to upgrade it to a dual fuel carburetor. Tested and ran great on both gas and propane. Super easy to do and worth the upgrade for only $30. I knocked one star off for the inconvenience of having to fix the item on arrival. ... show more

To start off I’m a 23 y/o college student here in Pensacola FL, after hurricane Sally came through and ravaged the Gulf Coast along with my home we ended up losing every bit of food we had in our deep freezers and refrigerator. So I figured it was finally time to pull the trigger on a new generator and I am so glad I did! Firstly, I ordered the variant with wheels, I recommend this version as the wheel kit on its own is about $100. The generator is about 100lbs (45kg) and with the wheel kit it’s easily maneuverable. Second, the noise level. For a generator it’s not extremely loud, I’d say it’s a little bit more quiet than a lawn mower. When you’ve got fans running inside your house you won’t be able to hear it at all! Third, the wattage. I was able to plug in a deep freezer, a double (fridge/freezer) refrigerator, a huge shop fan and a fast charger for my cellphone. It could’ve easily powered much more, like a game console, a tv and more. The generator did idle down and up when the compressors would kick in which is normal, it worked fine in that regard. Fourth, reliability. I’ve used this generator twice now, the first time when it came in to test it out and make sure there was no damage as I’ve seen other users report damaged generators on arrival. Mine arrived with just one single dent on the top handle, everything else was pristine condition! The second time I used it was when hurricane Zeta came through, we lost power for a day and it just now came back on in time for me to write a review for the generator! Fifth, connections. This generator has two standard wall outlets and then two RV connections, I bought a nema L5-30P to 5-15R adapter. Which gave me three extra wall outlet ports to use. This came in handy big time for plugging on peripherals like my phone charger, coffee pot or a fan. TLDR: Overall great buy, be wary of shippers as your version could arrive damaged. If it’s damaged, return it and Westinghouse will take care of it. This generator is very reliable, easy to start, and worth every penny! ... show more

A solid, reliable generator. This one is not too loud and can run a home entertainment system, refrigerator, and large fan on half load. Buy a 50' cord with a triple tap and short extensions to power all three! Recommended for grid-down occurrences! Great for hurricanes!
