I loved that this coat felt like a comforter was wrapped around me. It was SOOO warm and even the pocket interiors were soft. I also loved the pretty fur on the hood and the fact that its removable. However, I felt a bit like the Pillsbury dough girl and I knew I would get too warm in it unless I was spending the whole day outside in freezing weather which I'm not planning on doing anytime soon so I returned it. I live in Minnesota and was a bit skeptical that an inexpensive coat could actually keep me warm in the winter. We haven’t had too many cold days yet this winter, but this coat is VERY warm! Much warmer than my last coat which was an expensive name brand coat that only held up two winters. Size wise I ordered a Large when a Medium probably would have been better. I wear size 6-8. But, I wanted something I could layer under and sizing up gave me more than enough room to do that comfortably. My only complaint is that the zipper is sometime finicky and already has a tooth that’s a little off, so I’m worried the zipper won’t hold up for too many years. ... show more

So pleasantly surprised how heavy duty this coat is. It’s very warm, cozy, and perfect for really cold days. Can’t give it a full 5 stars because the hood is HUGE. It covers my entire face when I try to put it up but it can be removed, so all is not lost. Also, it came with a hole in my right pocket. Not a huge deal and but would expect the coat to be in perfect condition when it came. Overall, very happy with my purchase especially when I got it sale! The coat is warm and fairly well-made. My daughter is thin and tall but the fit was perfect. We did have some trouble with getting the zipper to catch. The double pulls (metal) combined with a less substantial plastic connection make it hard to get it to catch, especially since the coat is so long. I bought a similar coat and ordered the same size I had the other one in. It is too big. I bought my sister one as well, and hers is too big as well. If you wear a medium, get the small, etc.

My 14yo daughter LOVES this coat. She loves the hood and loves how warm the coat is. She loves how cool it looks. I got it months ago and she was just now telling me how much she loves all the pockets. Aparently there are multiple pockets inside the coat, one of which is lapel level and her phone fits in it.
