I wouldn't call myself a "pulse oximeter" connoisseur, mostly because I dont think such a rank exists-- but this item delivers the quality you would expect of any other pulse oximeters at a much more affordable price range. Ive tested the readings against other competitors and Ive found the readings to be very consistent. The build material is not the greatest but if you are an ordinary person that isn't super athletic and leaving your belongings susceptible to shock and other damage, you shouldn't worry. I have not tested the water resistance level of this item so I am unable to provide you with any data regarding this but I would strongly suggest to not expose it to water. Overall, for its price, I think it is a very good item. You are able to select the option to alert you when your 02 is too low and when your heart rate is too high or low. This item performs the function it is supposed to and it does it very effectively and for a very economical price. ... show more

    • Great pulse ox!
I am a nurse and sometimes at work I struggle to find a pulse ox so I bought this one and just keep it in my pocket. This works wonderfully, I like that you get to see the waveform line as sometimes on cold hands it's can be hard to read so it's nice to see nice humps on the line. It does do 30 second spot check or you can change it to continuous. When you put it on a finger it automatically turns on and starts sensing which is a huge plus as I can put it on a finger and do other things. The button is for memory feature. ... show more

There are pulse oximeters that are more highly rated but comments indicated that this one is easier to use. Bought it for an 89 year old relative and he didn't have any trouble using it.

    • Great value for a budget pulse oximeter
Having used it for two weeks, it has provided reasonable data (do note there is a ±2% deviation in readings), with no issue in giving consistent readings. The overall construction is great, with a clear display and no manufacturing defects.
