  • Qardio's app keeps a history of your weight.
Updated 07Aug2019 I spoke with Austin at Qardio's tech support 855 240-7323 today. He was experienced and very professional. He worked with my wife and myself on the phone to configure our Qardio app on our iPhones and iPads so that we can now store a history of the measurements taken by our QardioArm and our QardioBase2. I just sent his boss, Alison, an email, suggesting that she give him a raise. And a promotion. So, as of 07Aug2019, I have changed my rating (from 1 star up) to 4 stars. I will change my rating to five stars when the Qardio app works in both landscape and portrait modes, when the Qardio app works with FaceID, and when the Qardio app works with 5GHz routers. As of 07Aug2019, the Qardio heart rate monitor is still not approved by the FDA. Qardio's app does not work. So, I cannot keep a history of my blood pressure or my weight. I contacted their tech support seven times over a two week period, both by phone and by email. They did send me a new QardioBase2 scale, after they said my first one was defective. They also updated their app. However, after shipping their first scale back, and after deleting and reinstalling their newly updated app, and then installing the new scale, it still does not work. I have spent maybe six hours trying to coax the Qardio app and Qardio equipment to actually do what their marketing department says it should do. No joy. On Monday 29Jul2019, when I called Qardio's tech support phone number, 855 240-7323, all I got is a recording that says no one is available to answer the call, and to please send them an email. Which I did, because their sixty day cash back period for me is expiring in three days. I want to get my QardioBase2 scale, my QardioArm blood pressure monitor, and the tracking history, all working together. I have failed, and I fear that I am out hundreds of dollars. ... show more

  • Works great, Great quality, App could use some work
No issues with the scale itself. Using it with multiple people is effortless. The app is a little clunky

  • Easy to set up and accurate
It’s quite easy to set up although it’s not clear how it’s best to charge it (it’s rechargeable). I still haven’t charged it yet since getting it 6 months ago. So that’s nice, but it’s not clear when it needs to be charged. The manual says it’ll say when it needs charging but again it hasn’t said it yet. So we’ll see I guess. It seems quite accurate now but when I first got it, it would give different results when I remeasured my weight after the first reading. Maybe it takes time to “learn” your particular weighing “style” I don’t know. But now it seems quite consistent between two or three readings. It does work with the Health app on the iPhone which is what I wanted. No more manually entering your weight. However to get that data to sync with other weight loss apps like Loose It, you have to open the Quardio app and then (re) open the weight loss app in question to get it synced up. That apparently because the Quardio app writes the weight to the Health app only when it’s open, and then the weight loss app only reads it from the Health app when it’s open. So the Health app is the central hub of everything linking the two in other words. Took me a bit of time to figure that out. It looks quite nice too. Quite stylish I’d say. Worth the price in my opinion overall. ... show more

  • Erroneous measurements from time to time
Having regularly used the scale now for 3 months, I want to let others know that it occasionally reports erroneous stats. Most of the time, one can see gradual progressions that, more or less, reflect the rate of loss/gain one might expect given one's fitness and nutritional regimen. However, the Qardio 2 will occasionally report stats that are well outside expectation--in other words, obvious errors. On separate occasions, I have had disparate weight and body fat percentage "spikes" that were well outside expectation (e.g a 15% body fat reduction in one week; outstanding change, but wholly unrealistic and obviously wrong.) Again, most of the time the measurements are within the tolerance of expectation, but given the nature of the device's purpose, those occasional fluctuations should be rare, not semi-frequent (in my experience, "semi-frequent" equates to 2 out of 13 measurements; approximately 15% of the time.) The app for the Qardio 2 is great in the information it provides, and it links to several fitness & nutrition apps (for me, most importantly, it ties directly to Apple Health.) Still, if that information is not consistent with one's fitness & nutrition behavior, it doesn't mean much. Hopefully, the Qardio team will see this type of feedback and adjust (if possible) the firmware to account for/amend such errata. Until then, consideration of a device with more consistent accuracy may be in order. ... show more

  • Easy setup, extremely accurate, Great purchase
I read some negative reviews and lots of good ones before I purchased this scale. I found the app and the setup extremely simple, battery life is great after owning it over a month. rechecks for weight accuracy are spot on. I do not have one negative thing to say. • pain to setup, but works great as a daily scale
Purchased this scale as it was compatible with the Blood Pressure cuff by the same company, and links directly to Apple Health app. Good looking device, heavy, feels like it is going to last a long time. Fantastic battery recharge length. Scale is very accurate on weight ( I have no way to verify BMI numbers ) Once set up ( it took us 3 times for the programming to our ONLY wifi network to stick ), it works like a charm. Just wake it up with a tap of your foot, then stand on the top. It's big enough for my size 12 feet. The device takes a few seconds to register your vitals, and sends it via wifi to my Apple watch, plus my 4 other tablet / pc units - even lets my wife see my results remotely from work. ... show more
