  • German Shepherd approved
Flavor Name: Chicken
ZanderBlue’s eaten Wellness his whole life. Typically the large breed variety since we travel often. Plus, I buy extra groceries like wild caught fish, organic chicken and beef, etc plus he enjoys garden veggies approved for shepherds. While getting his teeth cleaned the doctor found a chipped tooth. Apparently large dogs on a hard toy can chip off a piece. Out with that toy at his friends house. Only 💯 Kong toys from now on. During the healing process the doctor said soft food. Besides soaking his regular food used this canned product while he recovered once a day. The only thing I noticed after feeding him a can mixed with water at bed is this dog couldn’t make it to his normal wake up. We usually wake up around seven. No alarm. This poor boy woke me in the middle of the night. I don’t think his system could handle the amount of soft food. And the switch being so extreme despite he gets small amounts of other things like if I eat an organic chicken he gets half. Same with steak or whatever. So it’s not as though he’s not exposed to lots of different foods. Each day he seems the same but not as early. I checked his poop and no soft stool. We still have four cans left. I’m saving them for random meals since the quality date is for another year. I prefer giving ZanderBlue organic food choices and appreciate the Large Breed variety. He has a beautiful coat and seems very well. No health issues and appears to be happy to enjoy his meals. To include additions. Like bacon grease added or chop meat and the juice. Today was a couple of wild caught sardines. There’s no way I can supplement all the nutrients. For us Wellness works. Would I recommend this product? Yes, if soft food is required. For us, price is steep as the vet said three cans a day would be perfect, and our guy has a lot of food choices already along with making his Large Breed enjoyable mixing it up different ways. We won’t use it regularly, but as needed this is our first choice ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯 ... show more

  • Even my dog will eat this
Flavor Name: Lamb
My dog is not particularly picky eater. But apparently her stomach and skin are. This does not make her ill, or lethargic, or bright pink and itchy. She really seems to enjoy it when I add this to her food.

  • she eats it!
Flavor Name: Chicken
Was using the Wellness small breed kibble adding cooked chicken & vegetables for years. She started walking away or eating just the chicken & additives. Becoming so picky. Decided to try the canned, adding a sml. amt of kibble. She gobbles it up! Only negative for me is the very strong smell. But SHE likes it😃 ... show more

  • Yum yum
Flavor Name: Chicken
My chihuahua loves this food. It goes a long way since I mix it with water. Great coat. No more itch. And perfect poo poo. 🤭💩

  • My dog loves the food, but the cans are arriving dented
Flavor Name: Lamb
When I take the cans out of the flat box, most of them are dented. Even the ones on the inside have dents. Only one seemed like it might have cracked and I tossed it. The description doesn't say they are seconds so I'm disappointed in that because it's more expensive than other brands.

  • Great Product When It Is Consistent
Flavor Name: Lamb
The Wellness 95% lamb can be hard to find, the specialty stores I buy from dropped it. This last case had a different consistency, texture and color. The food is cooked in the can and sometimes it seems like some of the cans aren't cooked enough. Or maybe it is how it is being stored, I don't know it is just different. In 3 years this has happened twice with cases/cans my dog won't eat and neither will the neighbors dogs. Not sure what is effecting these changes, but have tried 10 out of 12 cans and my dog will not eat any of the cans and this is a food she normally likes and can't get enough of so out $50 and looking for another food. This is a great product most of the time, but this was not one of those times. Should have returned after the first can, so if you buy it and it is bad, I suggest you return them all. ... show more

  • High quality topper
Flavor Name: Chicken
But how is it that the majority of the cans are dented? What’s more confusing is the dents are in different directions so it’s obvious the case was packed with existing dented cans. Quality control? On the up side, this product is pricy, but my 5 dogs absolutely love it, not to mention their health, coats and energy attest we’re doing something right! ... show more
