We did our research and one thing we repeatedly read was that meat meal wasn’t good for your dog, well Cesar’s has none, there are only healthy ingredients in Cesar’s. It was in the top 10 healthiest dog foods and it is completely affordable. Cesar’s not only smells good it must taste pretty yummy too, because the dogs eat it right up and they’ve stopped begging for our food! They are behaving much more lively and their coat has improved. The packages are so easy to store nice and neat and they are easy to open too. We are so glad we switched to Cesar’s, because it is a win, win healthy and yummy. Edit: Beware, our dogs got extremely ill and the animal hospital told us to stop feeding them this dog food immediately. Our tiny toy poodle weighs less than 10 pounds. We experimented with an assortment of the wet dog food brands in little cups. Some of them were more expensive and may have better reviews because of claims about their ingredients. An expensive food with a special ingredient means nothing if she won't eat the food. Reading the Cesar ingredient list shows a balanced nutritional content that stands up to the more expensive brands. Like the other brands, Cesar's recommended daily serving is WAY more than our dog could possibly eat. She eats half of a container in the morning and finishes the other half in the evening. She has a nutritional kibble (small-sized because her mouth is so small) in a separate bowl that she can snack from whenever she feels like it. Throughout the day, she also gets Milk-Bone Soft & Chewy Minis as treats. When the Cesar wet dog food is served, she gobbles it down right away... and we think she likes the variety. With the other small-container wet dog foods, she would sniff them and walk away. Every situation and dog is different, but this solution works for us. ... show more

This is an absolute favorite choice for my 16 year old Shorkie. This is a soft healthy food with not tons of smell. She has become a picky eater as she has aged. This food is by far the best soft food option that is healthy at a reasonable price.

My 13-year old dog, Ollie, has to eat something because he is a diabetic and needs to have food along with his insulin shots twice a day. However, he is very fussy about his food, and will hardly touch dry food. So far Cesars Classic Loaf flavors are the only wet dog food he will eat right now. He doesn't care to eat gravy so I rinse the loaves off and cut them into little cubes for him, which he prefers. (He is a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix.) We don't mind spoiling him as he went blind last year and also had to have one eye removed due to glaucoma, so when it is time for breakfast and dinner, he sniffs out the Cesars and we are just glad he gets some joy out of eating something. Cesar has been great for my dog. After he had his dental work done, it was hard for Rocky to eat dry dog food. So we switched to the wet canned food. A can was too much for him and we had to throw away some of the food a few times per week. But, the size of Cesar's food is just right for my Yorkie.
