    • Good deal for the price.
I bought these batteries to power my Drive Way Gate. I have used several different types and sizes of batteries along with a couple different automatic battery charger/maintainers over the last several years and the batteries have all died to the point they will not hold a charge or even take a charge on some of them. I’ve used standard smaller batteries and even a larger expensive LiPo battery for this application. All of them stop taking a charge after about a year and all of them get to the point the gate doesn’t work or will open part way and stop or will just beep and not move. These batteries are a good price for the pair. I hooked them together in parallel to make a larger single 12V battery. Giving me a 24AH 12V battery. I soldered the wires to the terminals so that there is no voltage drop across a poor connection from spade clips. I also used connectors on the power wire and charging wire that are weather proof as well as can handle the power draw “not that this pulls a lot of power”. Everything is working great. So we will see how long these last. The size of these were small enough to have room inside the battery box that’s buried in the ground next to the gate so that I could space them from all sides and even underneath as well as from eachother. This keeps them from sitting on cold ground and loosing charge and decreasing their life span. Even with the low cost these are worth it. I purchased this battery for my scooter in February. Battery only used a couple times. We have charged it in between. I put battery on the charger this week. After about 45 minutes I went to check it. The battery was extremely hot to touch, was swollen up. I took it outside as I was afraid it was going to explode! This should not have happened. It could have burned my house down or injured us if it exploded. I do have the battery. At the very least a new battery should be sent to me. If you send one I will watch it closely so nothing explodes. I know I am out of my return window. I used the same battery before and it was fine. ... show more

Bought this months ago for my disability scooter. Last about three months. Calle customer service four times. Their machine says leave a message and we'll get back to you ASAP. Still holding my breath waiting for a return call. This is my means of transportation. Been locked away in the house, because the battery barely holds enough charge to get from one end of the house to the other. Put it on charger 5-6 times a day. Batteries are crap, customer service is crap. (non-existent) Avoid the supplier and especially the manufacturer/importer. BTW, still no help from either. ... show more
