Wow I just had the deepest night of sleep with this blanket! I had heard they are good for people who like a lot of blankets and it’s true. I’m not the kind of person that can sleep with a sheet on. I need the weight. Typically I have to have the room quite cold and then I have my sheet, thin quilt, comforter with duvet cover, robe and a blanket on top! My boyfriend thinks I’m crazy. Its always cozy at first but then I sweat when I fall asleep. (I know, shocking). Well last night with my new weighted blanket, I eliminated my quilt, blanket and robe! I loved the feeling of the thin but heavy blanket. Reminded me of an xray blanket but much softer. I laid down to try it out and was out immediately. Obviously I highly recommend. I love my weighted blanket, when I sleep under it, I feel comfortable and tend not to move at all during the night, normally I fidget and end up twisted like a pretzel in the morning, but sleeping with this, I fall asleep on my back, I wake up on my back, same with my side. There is just something comforting with sleeping under weight. In regards to customer service, long story short, had a couple issues with the product, emailed their customer service and they were happy to take care of my problem. They responded within hours, and had offered a solution quickly and completely. Overall, great product, looks great, feels great, overall stands up to standard blanket abuse, have not had an opportunity to run it through the wash, I am a little scared considering the weight, but I'm sure it will be fine. The blanket; though filled with thousands of glass beads is about as quiet as a standard comforter. ... show more

I really like my Weighted Idea blanket. My partner bought one for me and I've used it for a month now. I find the weight to be just the right amount (10% of my body weight)--much lighter and it wouldn't feel that heavy, much heavier and I'm sure I would have aches and pains when I wake up. It has helped me fall asleep when I have trouble falling asleep and helps calm me when I'm feeling anxious. The first time I used it, I was on a bed much softer than my own and I did feel a little sore, but that stopped as soon as I got home and used it on my own bed, which is one the firmer side. The quality of the blanket itself is good: it doesn't look like it will rip/tear easily and the weight remains well distributed because the beads are sewn into squares. It does get a little hot sometimes, so I don't know how much I will get to use it during a hot summer. ... show more

My daughter suffers from anxiety and insomnia. This has helped her with sleeping through the night so much! She used to wake up very frequently and would have a hard time falling back asleep. Since getting this blanket, she has slept though the night, every night, accept for one night (it was storming and very loud lightning). She is 8 years old and weighs 53lbs so the 7lb blanket works perfect for her. She says it's very comfortable and the weight distribution seems nice. Navy blue size 48x72. This weighted blanket has sewn squares to keep the beads in each individual area. There is not any noise when moving the blanket around and the edges are double folded over and reinforced stitches to keep the beads secure within the blanket. I have not had any beads leaking out. I have restless leg syndrome (RLS) and this blanket keeps my legs still at night and prevents them from jerking so they don't wake me up. The blanket is a comfortable temperature. I do not seem to get any warmer at night with this blanket than any other regular blanket. I have not tossed it off because I got too warm. The blanket's weight is evenly distributed and keeps me from tossing and turning during the night. ... show more
