The Weeping Willow is known for its graceful and refined qualities, easily recognized by its open crown of ground-sweeping branches. Willow’s leaves are light green above and a more grayish green beneath. This willow grows especially well near water, and is one of the fastest growing shade trees with a growth rate of 8-10 feet a year, quickly reaching its mature height of 30-50 feet. It can be grown in most of the United States and adapts well in many soil conditions. If you have a spot in your yard or landscape that is constantly wet or collects water, the Weeping Willow will help dry it right up. Willow prefers moist soils that are well drained and does best in full sunlight to partial shade. Tree shipped well packaged. Photo is taken right after I opened the box. The box itself was over 6 feet tall. After removing from the box the tree is actually over 7 ft tall. Appears healthy, no bugs damage, or disease present. It’s been planted about a week now and looks like it will do well. I have been watering it extensively since planted. About 2 gallons of water each day as we’ve had little rain here. It just soaks up the water. I’ll continue watering daily until I see lots of new growth. ... show more

    • Came damaged with bugs and died
The tree came damaged with some ends already turning black and bugs eating it. I sprayed it to kill the bugs and cut back the dead and dying parts. The tree still ended up dying though. It was expensive for a willow tree and a waste of money. Better to just find a local place, they'll be cheaper and you can actually inspect the tree before buying it ... show more

Pretty impressed with the growth of this tree! It came in as a 5’ stick pretty much. But since we planted it, it has taken off. It grew 1’ the first summer but the impressive part was how much it filled out. It got tons of nee drooping branches full of leaves! So much that I even had to do some trimming in some areas.
