Not only did it look phenomenal with the blue lights on, it was super cute with them off too. I really like that you can use all 4 tiers or just one or two. The button tier could be used alone for a half-sheet cake if you wanted it to be slightly elevated off of the table. It’s made of sturdy, hard plastic that’s easy to assemble-just takes a little time- and is super easy to clean (I highly recommend hand washing it only though, as I’m not sure how the plastic would hold up in the heat of the dishwasher). We initially bought this to use for my daughter’s 4th birthday party (and future bday parties) and then decided to use it the next day for an on-the-fly tea party for her bday to hold finger foods and fruits! Gave the room the perfect touch. It really brings your attention to the table. Things I didn't like was that it came with no instructions. Lights were a hassle to string through, and the tiny cake I made for the top hardly fit. No matter what I did, it was wabbly and I was afraid the cake would fall. It held up nicely, but know you'll spend at least 1hr trying to put the lights on. ... show more

I love this! Can not wait to use it for my daughter’s party! Easy to assemble the stand itself, and it seems pretty sturdy. I didn’t give the full 5 stars due to there not being any instruction to string up the lights and it took quite a while and some trial and error to figure out. I just did the best I could and went with it. I would have preferred for all the lights to be on the bottom of each level but it is what it is; And it is still cute. The item is cute. It was easy to put together and string on light. The only bummer is the nights we got was the Multicolor lights, it end up being the Christmas color lights… ( red, green, blue )… I was thinking I was getting the multicolor lights with pink, yellow, blue. This would have been perfect for my daughters 1st birthday. Overall, item looks exactly like photos BUT you don’t know which multicolor lights you will end up with. ... show more
