Great manual. I was hoping for information on rebuilding the throttle linkage part on the side of my zenith stromberg carb which wasn't in there. But as far as working on the carb itself there is enough detailed information to rebuild it and keep it maintained. I have figured out my other problem by looking at pictures and have everything together now. ... show more

I don't regret buying it as I needed information on a weber carb that I have. The book covers a lot of different carbs so the information available per carb is limited and there is little to no tuning information. The rebuild information is a bit weak as well. The price, however, is excellent for the amount of information the book does have. ... show more

An excellent, well written, book on sports car related carburetors. Answered a lot of questions about my new Webber's and made it easy to get them tuned up and running correctly on my 74 Volkswagen. Would definitely recommend.

I have a 70 240z with twin SU Rountops. I was pretty nervous about messing around with my carbs and attempting to get them in sync. After reading though the pertinent chapters on my carbs, and about five tries to get them right, I got it, am comfortable with tuning them, and she runs like a top now. If nothing else, this book encouraged me to let my mechanic to my car tuning and repairs. I could probably do this myself, given enough patience, but I could also turn my car into a non-running project.
