  • Very happy with this grill
Color: Black Style: Gas Grill
I’m not the most experienced backyard bbq-er, and we didn’t need/want anything too large or fancy. So this grill checks all the boxes on ease of use, compact, collapsable and easy to transport…and relatively easy to clean…although cleaning any grill is never any fun. It also feels very high quality as compared with the Coleman Roadtrip (which we returned in exchange for this…and I’m so glad we did). The Coleman was less expensive but also much more rickety and finicky. It’s true what they say, Coleman is great for general camping stuff, but Weber knows grills. This is a well-designed, well-built, reliable, and sturdy grill for the casual cook…better yet, it heats up fast and the cooking surface is surprisingly large. ... show more

  • Premium portable grill
Color: Black Style: Gas Grill
Our tabletop portable propane grill made it a few seasons and gas regulator failed (no spare parts available!) affording the opportunity for an upgrade. Read many reviews on camper friendly gas grills. The fold up system of the Web Traveler and great reviews on ease of use and quality construction gets you over the price tag. Did not disappoint. Some assembly was required, but it was minimal, 10 minutes at most. The build quality is great with nothing lacking on the components. The only negative I've found is that is difficult to align the 1 lb cylinders into the bottom connection. I've started using a 1 lb to 20 lb hose to make that easier. Still need to be careful when folding the grill so that the hose is not obstructing anything on the fold up system, but it can stay attached when folded. Heat up time are quick with the smaller dome lid. I've cooked for groups of 6-8 with the Traveler, plenty of grill space. The grill grates are well made and clean up well. I bought an aftermarket griddle (half coverage) and have been pleased with that as an option. The hinged lid doesn't close all the way with the griddle plate however, so you can't put in a folded close position with the griddle in place. Glad I made the choice to upgrade. ... show more

  • The Weber Traveler Grill Meets Expectations
Color: Stealth Style: Gas Grill
The Weber Traveler Gas Grill met all of my expectations and then some. It is easy to set up and move around, functions exceedingly well, and looks great. The quality of its construction is excellent and the food I cooked was delicious. Highly recommend.

  • Nice not so little Weber
Color: Black Style: Gas Grill
I did not feel like spending the money for parts for my 20 year old Weber. I needed grate top and bottom, flavor bars ( again and again) starter box. So for the price of all that I got this grill and 5 foot conversion hose to full sized propane tank. So far have grilled chicken tenders, bratwurst, shrimp, scallops, pork tender loin chops, salmon & beef burgers. All have come out great. Mine seems slightly hotter on the right and I like that to get some burger a little more done. I tend to only grill for 2 to 6 people now, and find this perfect. Also a plus is it uses less propane than its big brother. I found it heat up well, 5 to 10 minutes depending on how much sear you want. Grates do not stick after seasoning, easy to clean. Like I can travel with a grill now. Want to get the griddle next. If you do not need big, or travel, this is a great grill and the black was a great value when on sale ... show more

  • great grill, even if not used for travel
Color: Black Style: Gas Grill
Bought this grill for the portability around my townhouse, including storage if needed. It's a supplement to my kitchen, as I only use this grill to cook food where I don't want it to get too smoky inside. I have it hooked up to a 20 lb propane tank with an adapter hose. Pros: - Heats up very quickly - 500 degrees in under 10-15 minutes. Fastest heat-up time in a grill I've seen. This is THE BEST feature. Relatively even heat throughout, though there are different spots. You need to learn your grill (as with any other tool) and where the hotspots are. An IR thermometer is helpful here. Some other reviewers have complained about the lack of more temperature controls, but I think this is unnecessary in a portable grill, and simplicity is usually better. A ripping hot grill is usually the best way to go. Did I mention this thing gets hot very quickly? - Large cooking area for a portable. I use a 12 x 15 inch pizza stone in this to make great pizzas. - Easy to clean, especially the enameled grates. Nothing really sticks to them. The 2-part grate halves make it easy to take inside and clean with soap and a scouring pad. 2nd best feature. Cons: - Low-profile, but this only hampers grilling something like a whole chicken (you should learn about spatchcocking). The low profile helps this grill heat up very quickly, so I actually like this. -Vents are in the back. If it's really windy and the wind is blowing into the vents, you'll have hard time maintaining temperature or possibly even the flame. Solution is just to be mindful of this and reorient your grill vents away from the wind. ... show more

  • Small Family Grilling Solution
Color: Black Style: Gas Grill
This is the first grill I have owned. I purchased it mainly because of the brands reputation, features, and it’s small footprint. The only disappointment has been the not so equal distribution of heat. It seems to get much hotter towards the back, which causes a noticeable difference in cook rate from food placed elsewhere. It hasn’t made an impact, as we generally rotate food around to ensure everything is getting grilled at the same rate and for the most part we grill smaller meals so we simply place food in the same area to allow everything to cook at the same rate. The griddle size is large enough to grill for 4-6 people. It’s very easy to clean and the side tray offers enough space to place seasoning, serving platters (loading and unloading) and a hot pad for handling that cast iron or griddle. Despite the different temp zones it is very easy to control the overall temp using the single adjustment knob. Most propane grills I’ve worked with in the past it’s 500 degrees or nothing so this was a big win in my opinion. Because of its size it takes no more than 5 minutes to clean and that’s a full griddle scrape and internal debris cleaning. Love how accessible the propane is and how easy the rig is to pop up and breakdown. We have limited patio and storage space so this unit fits well and meets our every need. I would recommend this grill for small families, homes where space is limited, and the glampers. ... show more
