  • Great product!
Style: WWB WaterBug AUTO 1/4 HP 1900 GPH
This worked great to pump the excess rainwater (we got 20 inches in one day) from our yard to the drainage system. I like that it automatically shuts off when the water level is low.

  • Does what it claims to do. Peace of mind.
Style: WWB WaterBug AUTO 1/4 HP 1900 GPH
I have bought a second one on the strength of the first one. An automatically engaged water pump that has not failed yet in several floods we have had due to climate change and the local sewerage system not doing its job anymore. Highly recommended.

  • Used it for 2 days straight...
Style: WWB WaterBug AUTO 1/4 HP 1900 GPH
...and it cycled on and off every 45 seconds for about 10 seconds each time...day and night with NO problem. (That's just under 4000 on/off cycles for the 2 day period.) Just wish it were slightly less in diameter, as it had to be lowered into a very narrow well house, and was a bit tricky to get in there. Would also be nice to have an option for the hose outlet on top as opposed to the side. Overall seems like a beast of a pump. Well worth the $$$. ... show more

  • Small but mighty
Style: WWB WaterBug AUTO 1/4 HP 1900 GPH
I bought this pump to change my swimming pool water (16000 gallons). After the pool filter pump had drained it as far as it could, I lowered this little gem into the remaining depths. It was so quiet and efficient. I used a net bag around it to keep out big debris and the system worked like a charm. Wish I had this several years ago when I would fight with water accumulating in the pool winter cover. ... show more

  • Great pump
Style: WWB WaterBug AUTO 1/4 HP 1900 GPH
Only problem is the pump doesn’t work unless you have an inch or more of water. But the smaller Wayne pump does

  • Started working then just cut off can’t get it to start pumping water again
Style: WWB WaterBug AUTO 1/4 HP 1900 GPH
The media could not be loaded. It worked for a moment then just stopped. There’s no on and off switch says it’s automatic seems like it just cuts on for a second cut off. Also only pumped water. One time is definitely deep enough I tried moving it around plugged and in plug it turns on then shuts right off . then I try to call customer service and they’re closed pretty disappointed for the amount of money spent I have a flood that I need to clean up and now it’s not working. Will be getting refunded ... show more

  • Improving Durability Is Desired
Style: WWB WaterBug AUTO 1/4 HP 1900 GPH
This « water bug » works great as a backup sump pump. But when it had to work continuously, especially in my case, it quit though I checked its functioning every 2 hours or less. The automatic device didn’t respond!

  • Great pump
Style: WWB WaterBug AUTO 1/4 HP 1900 GPH
I have poor drainage in my back yard - it's not a problem most of the year, but during the spring rains it can become an issue. It works great! If you are going to use it in a place where there is debris that could clog it, I recommend using a pond pump filter bag (the one I got was 17.7" X 17.7") - once I bought one I have had no issues at all with clogging. ... show more
