We purchased our Waykar dehumidifier on April 15,2023. We received it on April 18,2023. We let it set for 24 hours as recommended and then turned it on. It ran beautifully removing humidity from our basement as expected. When we plugged the dehumidifier in on March 20, 2024 and turned it on, it wouldn’t remove any humidity. We then contacted customer service and found them very helpful and easy to work with. We are writing to say that Customer Service was willing to work with us totally. The product will be replaced and we will have a brand new dehumidifier running in our basement soon. Waykar truly cares for satisfying their customers. After got shower in my bathroom master bedroom , humidity it's 88%, after 1 hour working, reduced to 50%. Also it's great for big areas like living room or master bedroom. I would like the water try bigger because it's filled soon but instead I'm very satisfied with the dehumidifier.

    • 1st one DOA. Replacement didn't work either.

First unit arrived dead on arrival. Plug in, nothing. Boxed it up sent it back for a replacement. Replacement came turned on, great! That is until 10 seconds later when the water full indicator came on and would not shut off. Float sensor malfunction. Unit never ran. Back in the box this one goes too. Complete junk. Not to mention this was to replace another Wakar unit that sprung a leak after a year that replaced another identical unit that sprung a leak after a year also.
