I have been a GoPro user for many years and I am used to taking my GoPro camera wherever I go on vacations. I went to Florida last year and took my camera to the beach with me. Although I had the “floaty back” but I was carrying my GoPro without a handle grip. These cameras are pretty small and carrying them in your hand is a real pain, it is very easy to drop them or even lose them, which I did and returned from Florida without my camera. The handle is a perfect size, it's sleek, extremely lightweight, fantastic non slip grip and comes with a high quality wrest-strap for extra security. The floaty is also accompanied with some high quality accessories that any gopro user will love to have. Included in the pack are: 1. The ProFloat hand grip 2. A high quality wreststrap 3. This is a very high quality premium product. The grip is very thoughtfully designed and serves as a multipurpose grip that not many floating grips offer. I had 2 different floating grips in the past 3 years. Both grips were serving one function and that was to l keep my camera afloat, they were good for that purpose but I could not dive deep as the float would force its way up to the surface of the water. This was very annoying in my last holiday because I did quite a bit of diving and could not take my camera deep into the water. This float is designed to perfectly serve you for both over the water and underwater photography. The orange cup at the bottom of the grip has 2 washers, which makes the inner chamber of the grip totally air tight and of course waterproof. So when the inner chamber is empty from water the grip will be filled with air and it will float and will not sink keeping your camera on the surface of the water. But if you wanted to dive deeper into the water you will unscrew the orange cap and fill the grip with water (maybe half way), now when you dive deep into the water the grip will hover with you without forcing its way up to the surface of the water, which is perfect for scuba diving snorkelling and other underwater photography which you cannot achieve with other floating hand grips. The material used to construct the grip is high quality, the handle is non-slippery, the mount on the top of the grip is quite solid and sturdy, the nut is attached to the mount, this is great because on my previous grip the nut was coming off the grip and they are quite tiny and easy to lose. I lost mine in the sand on the beach, I could not attach the camera no more, so it made the grip useless. The nut on ProFloat is moulded into the grip and does not come off which is a great design feature. Overall, this is a great product, very premium look and feel to it and a fantastic design.     • Great without wrist strap.
wrist strap makes a lot of noise that the GoPro picks up. So if its for a pool use just leave it off. Works great otherwise.

I have to say that it exceeded my expectations. It's been a while since I bought it and I've used it many times. It is easy to use and the compartment inside is just super handy and useful if you're going to do snorkel. Totally recommended.

We used this for the past couple weeks in Hawaii. Works great with the Hero 4 Session, which was easy to install. We never had to worry that the camera would fall off. We especially liked the tilt option. The grip is comfortable in your hand and does not slip. The strap provides extra security. The grip is light and hardly adds any weight to the already light Hero 4 Session. Floats well in the water and the orange bottom makes it easy to find (not that we let it go very far in the first place). The grip is great for swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding, on water slides, or cliff jumping :) Originally, we couldn't decide on whether to get the hand grip or the hand strap, but we're glad we went with the hand grip -- it's more versatile.
