It’s a win win for me. UPDATE********************** today is August 21, 2023. They replaced the collar but unfortunately this collars latch has broke again. It just fell of my dog a few days ago. The media could not be loaded. The first time we brought our dog outside using this collar, he immediately took off towards a stray cat and this collar latch came undone. Not even 2 minutes with this collar and our dog was loose. He's a 15 pound, 22 week old Corgi - not exactly a big dog, and definitely not large enough to be able to snap a collar! The $7 collar we got when we picked him up from the breeder has never once failed us and, yet, this thing didn't last a single potty break. We adopted a 3-legged stray Rottweiler. One might expect that a 3-legged Rottie faced with the prospect of shelter, scritches behind the ears, and regular meals might stay close to home. But NoOOoo. One might also then be super frickin' surprised to find out that this doggo is an escape artist that would leave Houdini wondering how the heck she did that. Eight escapes in 6 days. Two of those escapes were less than 15 minutes apart. We have a 5 foot tall fence, and there's no way with her one hind leg she's jumping over that. It turns out she squeezed underneath that stupid fence through a tiny little hole that I wouldn't put a claustrophobic rabbit through. Fortunately, this Airtag collar makes it easy to keep track of her now. That, plus my neighbors know I give restaurant gift cards to people who bring her back. But honestly, since she got the Airtag collar, it's like she knows. She *knows*. She doesn't try to escape like before. Don't let your 3-legged Rottie win! Get this collar and win the escape club game through superior geolocation tech she can't possibly match.
