This sat in the box unused for 8 months. there is a hose packed in the box that is folded 4 times to fit inside the box. Upon opening, it opened with no kinks! After putting on the charger, started pumping from 5 gal container. Item fits both square and round top 5 gallon container from walmart -which is a unique size that is hard to find other products to pump water. pumps works great - only had to tilt container for very last drops at bottom. Gravity drainage slows down when as the water comes out of the container, but this pumps keeps a constant flow throughout the entire bottle. Speed is fast enough to fill a small water bottle, yet not too strong that it would over spray a coffee cup. While I only used it so far to pump two 5 gallon containers, the pump is still going strong, not requiring a re-charge. There is a blue seal that comes with the pump that seals to top when using the pump - it has a hole in it to run the hose. The spray output comes out at a 45% angle, which is perfect to fill small bottles-resting your hand on the edge of the 5 gal container. The switch is on top and operates moving forward-backward, so the user doesn't push up-down to turn on the device; preventing one from pushing the pump off the 5 gal container. The media could not be loaded. The only complaint I have is that there is no charging light indicator. You plug it in and there is nothing to let you know that it's actually charging or that it has completed charging. You just have to plug it in and leave it as long as you GUESS it needs and hope for the best. ... show more

This is without a doubt the most efficient, easy, and economical way to dispense fresh water! No bulky and expensive stands. Saves space as it takes up no more room than just the bottle. I just set my 5G bottle of spring water on the kitchen counter and pop this top in. The top charges quickly and easily and I just keep the charger in a kitchen drawer. It doesn't even need charging often and I bake and cook with this water, so I use it a lot. I charge it once a week and that only takes a few minutes. The slide button on top makes it easy to fill a glass or a pot with water. The rate of water flow is great. No tedious waiting for a slow pump because this thing fills up a glass pretty quickly. ... show more

Update: after less the 6 months it no longer works. It was great at first, but now it won't charge and is useless. I was getting tired of buying individual bottle waters and then of having to throw all those empty water bottles. I have a water cooler dispenser, but it no longer works and I was not willing to spend over $100 on a new one. I'm so glad I found this pump dispenser. It is easy to use, water comes out perfectly, and it's so inexpensive. The only issue is you have to charge it about every two weeks. I completely forgot that you need to charge it and thought it broken and was no longer functionable, thankfully I remembered it needs to be charged. It doesn't take too long to charge back up and it was working like new. I recommend this if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a water cooler/dispenser and are tired of buying water bottles.
