I bought as these batteries as backup when my Leica X Vario was purchased in 2014 and they’re still alive and kicking! I don’t use my XV as much these days but when I do there’s usually still a charge or if it’s been sitting too long put in for a charge and they work great.     • Excellent Battery, Great Deal
I love Leica cameras, but the accessories are often very expensive. I have an X1 and the OEM battery is, at the best discount available, $84. I took a chance on this Wasabi Power replacement from Blue Nook and it's excellent. In my initial use it appears to outlast the original battery by 50 shots or so, or about 20% (not a scientific test, but it has a noticeably greater capacity). The battery is well made, has no quirky characteristics, and uses Japanese cells. For the money I don't think there is a better battery for the Leica X1 and the folks at Blue Nook are terrific.     • Great Affordable Backup Battery
I purchased the Wasabi battery for an older Leica X1 and so far it's been great. Holds the charge very well and is a great option especially for the price. Great to have as a backup or primary battery.

    • Well build and powers my Leica just like the original, no significant difference.
Mine original broke (it fell on the flor) this replaced it, like nothing changed in terms of charging and battery life.

Great little extra battery to carry around and not run out of power. Works great and I see no difference with the expensive Leica battery

I've used Wasabi replacement batteries for years. It's a very good product, but after 2-3 years it begins to swell, and needs to be replaced. But for the price you can replace a lot of them before you hit the OEM price point. It's a good value.
