I have bought Wasabi batteries for my old Canon 7d with no issue so I bought some more for my GH5S. Battery fit and function is great, and the double charger is a blessing compared to the OEM. Some Panasonic chargers, like the one for the batteries for my S1, are incredibly bulky. Ridiculous actually. This after-market charger is really compact and I don't hesitate taking it on the road. I haven't noticed any difference in battery life between the Wasabi and the OEM battery. But the S5II they go in is really not the battery hog the S1 is. Note that you do not get a dedicated wall wart with this charger. Just plug it into an existing wall wart using a USB-C cable. I have been using my 1+Pro fast charger, with max 8W output, and it has been working fairly quickly. I believe it does come with a cable allowing it to charge from a standard USB wall wart, as opposed to USB-C, but I've always charged USB-C to USB-C. Again, very elegant and simple design, and charging two batteries simultaneously is a big help when I am travelling and want to be sure I will get my shots when I am in the field! ... show more

    • batteries are about 90% capacity of the factory, charger is very hard to use
These batteries work well and seem high quality. They last almost as long as the Lumix batteries. The charger is tough to get the batteries in and out of. It holds on to them too tight. The Wasabi ones must be slightly smaller than the Lumix ones. They go in and out a bit easier but the lumix ones go in so tight I always feel like I'm going to snap the charger in half prying them out of it.
