The charger does a good job charging the battery that came with my camera. I love the fact that I can charge 2 batteries at once so if your on a longer shoot you can cycle your batteries. The charger connects via USB charger instead of plugging directly into the wall. I can imagine this means charging rates can be affected if you use a 1 amp usb adapter vs a 2amp or higher. The battery life seems relatively good. I don't have to charge my battery often and needed a new charger because I lost mine. This one was a good value for a non genuine charger. ... show more

These are okay since they do fit my camera and I can use the charger for these plus the name brand battery that came with the camera. I'm only giving these three stars though, because these batteries last less than 30 minutes each with only moderate camera useage. I take photos every morning and after my original battery dies, I know I only have about 30 minutes of photography time left - and that's with using BOTH of these for the remainder of my shoot. I'm not too impressed with that aspect of these. They do give me that extra 30 minutes, but I'm my opinion - a person carrying two extra batteries on a photo shoot, even with heavy camera usage and a lot of zooming and anything else that uses battery power, should get at LEAST one hour of additional time to take photos. Ideally, I'd say one hour PER BATTERY. But that is not the case here. I'll likely buy some name brand spares but keep these in my bag just in case. I don't recommend this item for the batteries, but the charger is decent and charges two at once in a reasonable amount of time. So there's that anyway. ... show more
