I have had plows since 2005 on 4 wheeler. Had to order this bracket through trial and error. Nothing out there gives you all you need. Was mice solving riddle on old capable equipment finally and having it being better than original!!!

    • ATV-Honda Rancher- Push bar/plow base WARN 78100
I purchased this plow system for my honda 2003 Honda 350 rancher. Decided on the WARN after many hours of research. It's a 3 part system all purchased seperately: With the Push Bar/plow base 78100 In case you looking for the entire kit I also purchased: 1) mounting plate WARN 63290 2) 50" blade WARN 78950 The Push tubes were very easy to attach. Drive the atv on top of the push tubes to where the mounting plate is aligned with holes on the push tube. I use a short piece of 2x4 to lift it in place, then clip to the plate. Hook up the winch and ready to go. Very satisified with this purchase and can see years of work with this setup. It's also not too heavy for my 350 rancher and handles well in the steep hills and rough surfaces in Colorado and the right/left pivoting options are perfect for my S-like driveway. It arrived at the same time as the plow blade. The instructions that were included for the Push Tube were very limited and made me think this was going to be a guessing game, and I usually like the challenge. I decided to open the plow box instead. The detailed installation instructions came with the plow blade. After studying the schematics and some light reading I was able to install the system without problems in less than 2 hours. I finger tightened everything into place first and mounted the springs, then tightened everything up with a impact wrench. My tool selection isn't the largest, but I needed to use a 15/16 end wrench (or a socket) and a crescent wrench for the 2 large mounting bolts. Happy plowing... ... show more

    • Solid product, cruddy directions
The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star was because of the shoddy instructions that came with the 3 plow components (Provantage Push Tube, center mount base and 60" plow blade). Thankfully I have a mechanical background and could figure it out, but the instructions were an unclear mess, that was more of a parts list than how-to. Just a heads up, fix the instructions and give your customer service people a break. ... show more

    • You need this to mid-mount your plow blade... and some other stuff.
After one winter this is still holding up. I regularly drive faster than WARN recommends and I have yet to damage anything. I was worried that the lever would bind up and be difficult to adjust the blade but that hasn't been the case. I use this with my 2012 Honda Rancher 420 even though amazon says it doesn't fit. Check the manufactures website for the right part numbers. When I was looking for info on what all I needed to get this setup going it was a little hard to find good information, so I'll tell you. For a WARN plow system like mine I needed this base, a warn mount kit which is specific to your ATV, a warn provantage blade, and a winch. I bought the $50 harbor freight badlands winch. For the blade measure the widest part of your ATV and by a bigger blade than that. I think WARN recommended a 50" blade but I bought the 54" anyway to get wider than my atv and have been very happy with it. ... show more

    • NO INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
This plow base was a great fit for my 04 Bombardier and I would have kept it had my significant other decided he would continue to use the one on his Arctic Cat. If I had kept the plow base, without having instructions, I would have had to figure out how and where all the various bolts and parts went??? But it did have instructions on how to use a plow correctly and safely????? ... show more

    • Need a mount to attach push tube does not come with one.
Blade and push tube look well made for light duty, was disappointed that I could not attach it once assembled! Had to call warn and order the push tube mount, there was no mention of this when ordered. Was a specific fit for my quad...but doesn't come with frame mount😐
