My husband has a difficult time sleeping due to a medical condition he has. I was hoping a weighted blanket would give him some level of comfort and help him not be so agitated during his sleep. So far it seems to be workiing. I was a bit worried about the weight of the blanket but in following the recommended weight to buy for his weight it seems to be about right. Bought this during black Friday after hearing about weighted blankets forever and it's good I guess. The blanket is slightly smaller for my queen bed but big enough for me. Its pretty heavy so gives you a comfortable feeling. Definitely can feel the beads inside. One reason I got it was because I thought it would help with my sleeping. Only time I seem to fall asleep is when I actually should be waking up 😞. Anyway it didn't really help much. Do not go by your weight to buy these products. I choose the heaviest one seen unseen: a huge mistake. If possible , try to experience one for yourself and feel its weigh on YOUR body and ability to move. As big as I am, the 25lbs was way too heavy , it felt more like 50lbs and couldn’t turn comfortably: I had to buy a 15lbs one. The weight, 15 pounds, is perfect for me. When I was little, I was given my grandmothers heavy down yes, heavy quilt to sleep with, and felt so good. I fell right asleep, even though they were monsters under my bed. I’ve always wanted to find a heavy top for my bed but nowadays, at least in the recent past everything was built on lightness.
