The clock set up was very easy, put the batteries in, clock first, then transmitter and hang the transmitter outside and then push the WWVB button for a couple seconds. Mine set the correct time in just a few seconds but I had to change the time zone. Default is Eastern Time, I'm Central. The clock has DST automatic change that can be turned on or off with the Time Set button. The only thing I didn't care for was the light blue tint to the background. My old clock was bright silver which made the numbers stand out better. Small thing, I suppose, but I still don't like it. All that said, I'd still buy it again with no hesitation. Took awhile for everything to come together but now unit is working well. It was the better part of two days before it connected with the standard time system. I finally had to manually set the time and date. The next night the unit finally connected. However the next day the time was right but the day and date was off. I set them manually and they have been consistent since, No problem with temperature settings. It would be nice to have it illuminated, but it is a valuable addition to my room and I am enjoying my purchase. ... show more

After installing the 5 AA batteries as directed, I set the clock to near the correct time. Overnight it cued to the national time as expected. The accuracy is excellent. The figures are large and clear to be seen across the room. This is a big help for those of us who are aging. Thank you.

This clock is the perfect size the den sized room I have it in. The reading is clear even though it's not back-lit. The included sensor reads outside temperature along with the clock's inside temperature. Just a glance gives me the information I needed.

Works so well and looks great! I can easily see the time and temperature. The clock was so easy to calibrate. I just basically put the batteries in and it started to search for a signal and began to calibrate. It looks so good too!

Great price. I have had 4 of these clocks over the years. The outdoor temperature is the most common failure. But they are cheap and easy to read.
